Saturday Sample: AHA sparkling water

We have one Saturday Sampler, a 16 oz can of AHA Sparkling Water – the same item as AmazonFresh was handing out during their grand opening and very welcome.  Check your  U™ account and see if you got anything extra because weird freebies are popping up for other people 🙁  I’ll be stopping in for the little 49¢ watermelons – heard that they’re sweet and juicy or tasteless and dry, so we shall see.

Ibotta Cabot cheese rebate has reset

The Cabot cheese Ibotta reset and since it’s $3 at Jewel with a limit one $1 J4U coupon, you’ll be able to score some really good cheese for less.  Limit five; you may have a $1 or $1.50 Ibotta. Sign up with my referral code – MTXFAG – and we’ll both earn $10 on your first receipt scan.  This is an old picture – do I really need more cheese shots?

Saturday Freebie Pepsi Nitro Draft

As shown in this week’s ad, we have one Saturday Sampler, a 13.65 oz bottle of Pepsi Nitro Draft Cola.  Add to your U™ account by Sunday and redeem by Monday.  Check to see if you’ve gotten any random freebies; many people are seeing products appear every day, although neither Pita nor I have been blessed.

Saturday Sampler: Pepsi Nitro Draft

There is nothing here that screams savings to me, frankly, in the Jewel ad for the upcoming week.  Their bleach deals mean prices of almost $10 a gallon – even AmazonFresh is cheaper than that!  I’ll stock up on the slightly less than a gallon bottles at Dollar Tree, thank you very much.  Click on your U™ account and maybe you’ll see more to your liking.  Exact same 99¢ produce picture; I was hoping for mushrooms for a cooking powder test.

GG riced veggie sale continues

Actually, the Jewel deal this week is even better than last week since you don’t have to buy in multiples of four to get the price – yeah, it’s a penny more per box, but still sweet.  Why did I take 14 boxes you might ask?  That’s all they had – duh. Since there’s still the $1/2 unlimited digital coupon and those beautiful $1/2 tear pad coupons, each transaction will give you overage in varying amounts depending quantity purchased.  I used mine for clearance gum.  My name is Chris and I’m a gumcoholic…

OOP was 46¢ and I paid with Discover for the extra 5% back on groceries 🙂 🙂

Saturday Sampler: Coca-Cola Starlight

As shown in this week’s ad, we have one Saturday Sampler, a 20 oz bottle of Coco-Cola Starlight.  Both regular and zero sugar are included. Add to your U™ account by Sunday and redeem by Monday.  This is a limited time flavor and the description reads (no shit):

“You hold the celestial power of the universe in your hand. Discover what it is like to drink Starlight, on Earth for a brief encounter … Starlight’s red hue sparkles with a cooling sensation that has been transformed by the magic of space. Transport yourself to a new galaxy with each sip.”  Supposed to taste like space candy. or something

Jewel clearance shopping

Good thing I stopped at the local Jewel because the clearance cart was full of La Croix – only took 10 cans, though 🙂 Lots of shampoos & conditioners (HE, TRESemme) and Fructis Garnier hair treatments for $1.50; use the $3/2 coupon from 3/6 Save and they’re free!  New $1/2 tear pads out there for Green Giant riced veggies and veggie tots/fries/rings with May dates, so use up the 3/20 ones this week on the riced veggies and be ready for the next sale.  I would have paid 50¢ less had I swapped out the Cap’n Crunch for more oatmeal because of the new unlimited digital coupon, but FirstBorn has already just about finished yesterday’s box.  Wow.

While the total was $4.45, one of the La Croix rang up as $1.09 instead of 25¢ like all the rest.  Very, very weird because they are all exactly the same!  Now I’ll have to stop back and force myself to grab more riced veggies.

Jewel: cheap cereal & riced veggies

This price relies on tear pad coupons, which you should always grab justincase.  The Green Giant $1/2 coupon expires 3/20, so great save here.  The Quaker Oats coupon showed up just before the last Jewel sale.  There were more tear pads of $1/2 Green Giant veggie tots or rings good through May, so grab some of those if you see ’em.

Jewel is running a Buy 4 get an extra buck off the GG products, so that actually makes them a moneymaker.  Buying five Quaker products drops the cost down to 99¢ each, so use two of the $1.25/2 coupons.  I picked up a box of Cap’n Crunch for FirstBorn that’s not pictured … it’s already up in his room 🙂

Saw these deals over on this Jewel-Osco + More FB page – check it out!  My OOP here was $2.12

Jewel shopping with Ibotta

Actually, this is a trick photo because the Thomas products came from Dollar Tree a few doors down – see what the Jewel shelf tags read!  What I wanted was the Cabot cheese on sale for $3.50 because there’s a $1.50 Ibotta rebate (limit 5) and Cabot is a good brand. If you sign up with my referral code – MTXFAG – we’ll both earn $10 on your first receipt scan!

no sampler – Goose Island Flash Sale

No Saturday Sampler, but there’s a Flash Sale today on Goose Island beer and shandy.  Since shandy is usually a warm weather beverage, maybe Jewel corporate has been in touch with the weather gods about the next few months.
