So many times we bitch when stuff isn’t delivered as quickly as we want. Well, here’s a surprise: The order I placed yesterday at Abe’s Market arrived today! That amazing 9 pairs of women’s sunglasses from Graveyard Mall on February 9 also arrived today and the order placed yesterday on GYM has now been shipped (just got email). Considering yesterday’s order shipped FREE, that’s pretty good.
The Hunger Games film release on March 23 is generating a national mall tour (sponsored by China Glaze, h20 Spring Water and the Microsoft Store) to give fans the opportunity to meet the tributes just like the tour in the novel. Starting on March 3rd in Los Angeles, the tour will hit eight major U.S. cities. The tour cast members include Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson.

Stopped off at the Bolingbrook Wags (White Water & Boughton) for some trading/meeting up and to say hi to Jackie (HI, JACKIE!). They have about 50 extra Tylenol Precise available, both patches and creams, so if you’re looking for a small score, give her a call (630-771-1479) or stop in. This was less than two hours ago, and this is the slowest store in their district.
People have been encountering issues with Walgreens and the new registers – they don’t take the second $3 coupon on the BOGO: Register can’t find the second product to attach to. It’s certainly not insurmountable, because all the cashier has to do is enter the coupon manually as a mfr coupon, but I think that’s where all the confusion on accepting two coupons on a BOGO might be coming from. People have had asst mgrs telling them that Wags changed their coupon policy a few months ago…no they did not! If you encounter this at your local Wags either switch stores or beat that mgr to death with his or her own leg – either way works.

Instead of updating, thought I’d do a new post…A reader has been speaking with someone in the customer service department at corporate about this bottle vs case problem and here’s where we all pretty much stand right now:
Corporate is aware of the problem and the VPs are meeting to figure out a way to straighten out this mess. We will be receiving the proper number of cases, not bottles, that we all ordered, but they have to figure out how many to ship (if you ordered 18 cases and got 18 bottles, then they need to reopen your order and ship 17 cases and however many bottles). In other words, they are honoring all our orders. for some of you this means the semis will be pulling in your driveway…
If you have not yet spoken with corporate, please do so – don’t waste your time with the 800 number – as soon as possible. I originally left a message and they called back within a few hours. Corporate is able to view all the orders at one time, rather than going back and forth (when you call the 800 number that’s what you get). There will not be any further information until Monday, as the VPs are meeting on Saturday. By Monday I should have more details.

I always sign up for the various extra cashback deals for groceries, gasoline, etc. Why not get the biggest bang for your buck? And remember that sweet double value Shell gas card promotion from last May 28 where you bought a $20 Shell card with your cash back money and received a $40 Shell card instead? If they run it again this year…I’ll be waiting.
