PSA – Wallace Farms orders

Those of you who placed orders with Wallace Farms through FamilyFinds! last October have to use their vouchers within the next couple of weeks because the promotional value will expire on the 15th of May.   Click here to see where and when the next order drop off will be.  Note that you can only place an order within one week of the drop off date, so I’d suggest printing out your voucher as a reminder.  Heck, tape it to your monitor ’cause it’s $40 worth of good quality, grass-fed beef and meats.

PSA – time to toss those old inserts

Don’t forget to use the handy-dandy insert checker on the right sidebar.  You enter the oldest inserts you have and it will tell you if any of the coupons are still valid.  Otherwise – TOSS CITY!  Lots of coupons expired 4/30 and, unless you do a lot of Ultra shopping (where they take expired coupons back 30 days), there’s no reason to use up precious storage space.

4/29 Inserts – we have some winners here!

This week’s inserts are awesome:

1. Save up to $109 Target insert.  These store coupons stack really well with mfr coupons.

2.  Nicely thick Smart Source.  Lots of $1 coupons, but they’re the off two type.  BOGO on Skinny Cow singles.  20¢ off Ajax – woot on this one!.  $1.50/2 Caifornia Pizza Kitchen pizza NO SIZE RESTRICTIONS!

3.  A Moment to Save Pepsi inserts.  Pepsi and snack-y foods.

4.  May P&G has BOGO Pantene coupon (up to $4.99), the usual IAMS dry dog food coupons, $1 Secret deodorant.

5.  red plum is also pretty thick.  There’s a $2 Nivea coupon on sun-kissed products and $3 on the skin-firming products and $2 on both men’s and women’s lotions.

6.  Jewel ad with double coupons – woot!

HAPPY 47th B-DAY, MUM

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO RACHEL…who hates to be called MUM…which somehow makes it so much better.

Obviously doesn't apply, but i like it.

And Rachel’s not really gonna be 47 – this is just an test of the early birthday warning system.  FREE Mentos for all!

PSA – no inserts today

but not this week...

Due to the Passover holiday, there are no inserts in today’s paper – waste of a tree, right?  While I know many people put their delivery on hold during holiday weeks, I choose to keep my papers delivered because I don’t want a screw-up next week (’cause you just know that that week will have $900 worth of high-value coupons…and you’ll end up with a credit for non-delivery).

Lisle Walgreens PSA

Based on recent information, I’m calling a temporary halt to orders/dealings with the Lisle Walgreens.  Although I’ve been given permission to disclose more specifics, I don’t feel comfortable publishing details on a public forum.  Use the Contact tab if you want to pursue this privately.

PSA – cream cheese cat alert

PITA picked this one up last night at Jewel.  Dates are 4/09 – 5/06/12.

Buy 2 PHILADELPHIA cream cheese spread 8 oz or larger tubs and get $1 OYNO;
Buy 3 get $2 OYNO
4 or more and get $3 OYNO.

Under the “Find a Coupon” tab, Coupontom shows a $1.50/2 on Coupons.com.  You know that you can always check for available IPs and then just print directly from the link, right?  makes it easy-peasy

I’m still here…

PITA and I spent all afternoon clearing out expired inserts.  March 31 was a big expiration date; I have a CouponTom widget on the right sidebar that magically tells you if there’s any coupons still extant.  Just click the month, then the date on the next screen.  You’ll see all the inserts and they’ll either be red (toss) or green (keep).  If they’re still good, there will be a notation as to when the last coupon expires.  We filled up a couple of recycling totes already – that’s the downside to getting lots of inserts you know!

Wags PSA

Next week is going to be a completely dead week at Walgreens, in terms of FARR items, so I would recommend rolling your RRs today or tomorrow.  I had a load of those $4 Natrol Melatonin RRs, so decided to run a Colgate/Nasal Mist combo:  Colgate is $3 with $3 RR and the Wags Nasal Mist is $5 with $5 RR.  Basically I just rolled the RRs and paid 31¢ for the privilege.  Of course, I also got more products…

And while I could have used coupons, sometimes it’s easier to just roll those cats and not worry about fillers.

Graveyard Mall shipping

I received this email earlier this week, but didn’t post it because they’ve added the same language to their main page.  But for those of you who are wondering why some items are shipped almost immediately and others lag, this email may answer some questions.  And by the way, I don’t think anyone here necessarily wants immediate shipping for free, but knowing there is some consistency in a company’s shipping policy would be helpful…right?

Hello, I’m Greg Rosenbloom, founder and CEO of Graveyardmall.com and I want to take this time to give you a heads up as to how we operate our daily deals over here at Graveyardmall.com

In order to offer the lowest prices possible on our daily deals, it is imperative that we stock only the quantity of inventory necessary to fill the orders we receive and often times we are surprised at which of our daily deals prove to be the most popular. Because of this, we work very closely with our vendors who are ready to ship out extra inventory to us as quickly as they can. Unfortunately, this process can add days (and on a few occassions 1-2 weeks) to our shipping time. We are confident that these GREAT deals will prove to be worth the wait and we appreciate your business and your patience.

While we will make every attempt to keep you informed up front of any excessive delays or issues, we encourage you to contact customer service, should you have any concerns about your order: customerservice@graveyardmall.com Our Customer Service hours are M-F 8:00am to 3:30pm C.S.T and we are closed weekends and most holidays. Thanks so much for shopping at Graveyardmall.com
