CLEARANCE SALE – Soft and Cozy Sherpa-lined Cabin Socks with Grippers for $6.89. Available in men’s and women’s sizes and a variety of colors and patterns! Order 4 or more pair and get Free Shipping.
BELLA Kitchen Appliances for $12.99-39.99. Lots of small appliances here, but I chose this ceramic electric kettle because it’s so pretty! The prices on these new appliances are very good – well, it’s Woot, so kinda expected.
I haven’t been posting – or following! – Jewel sales in quite some time because, let’s face it, Jewel prices pretty much suck donkey balls. If it weren’t for clearance deals and Manager’s Specials, I’d be earning very few Rewards (well, except for FirstBorn’s weekly crap buys). This week has 29¢ Supreme tamales (limit 5) and Ronzoni pasta (limit 5). I admit to a deep love of those frozen tamales, but after a year of lockdown Youtube cooking videos, have switched almost entirely to Product of Italy pasta – stock up on deep sales and clearance and it’s usually cheap. If you have no preference, then this is a great pasta deal, so use all your accounts and stock up 🙂
Probably grab some blood oranges and bok choy varieties for .88/lb just for novelty’s sake. If you like grapefruit, the 5lb bags are $3.99 while loose ones are .88/lb – a tiny savings. Probably also pick up some limes, since I was reading chef tips that whole lemons and limes freeze well when they’re thawed later at room temperature. Taylor Farms salad kits are BOGO again this week at Amazon Fresh and they make a lovely stir fry (add extra bok choy or napa cabbage and it’s customized!). Eggs, milk and half and half are definitely Aldi or Amazon Fresh purchases (well, my store is usually out of Lucerne half gallons anyway).
See anything else that rings your bell, please comment below and share.
The 01/25 Amazon Fresh ad has a couple of salmon deals, depending on whether you pick farm-raised or wild caught. Vacuum-sealed fillets are great because you toss in the freezer without worrying about the quality degrading over time and time and time.
If you love their baguettes (who doesn’t), make sure to check the labels: I picked up two loaves and one was the 89¢ price while the other was $2.49 and said Parisian loaf; it was marginally wider.
Originally posted on January 11 – I try to give a longer lead time, so if you’re looking for something and it’s Tuesday, maybe wait until Wednesday?
The 01/18 Amazon Fresh ad has some great deals – the BOGO Taylor Farms salad kits promo continues and wild caught salmon 12 oz packs for $7.69, compared to Jewel’s $6.99 for 6 oz sale this week. Well, lately everything is a great deal compared to Jewel, right? I love these salad kits for a very quick stir fry.
Came in my inbox, so spam filter wasn’t triggered. And yeah, I know it’s a scam, although if the State of Texas had the ability to yank social security, that worthless piece of carbon Abbott probably would; got a laugh at least first thing in the day. Just in case I have memory issues and don’t remember my Texas transactions (or setting up banks where all that lovely money waits), it’s not a Texas government number, although it’s nice to see scammers using proper spelling and grammar for a change 🙂
Next time don’t pick someone who keeps records going back to 1984 – I don’t forget.
Space Dog Stuffed Animal with Removable Helmet from Manhattan Toy is 13″ long. Only $7.99 and if you order two or more the shipping is Free.
Just in case you were wondering, zip inserts this week and Saturday Sampler is a bust as well. How I remember those wonderful Word of the Days of free lasagna, cereal and pizza – now it’s icky energy drinks and pitiful coupon values. Last WOD promo was in mid-2021 🙁
