Wags Frozen Foods clearance

Wags is having a nationwide clearance of their frozen foods.  When it occurs depends on when your local store has its reset.  We are talking some really cheap prices here, peeps.  The Mr. P (small) pizzas are marked .25, the Starbucks ice creams, PF Chang, etc. down to a buck or two.  The Michelina’s Budget Gourmet Mac N Cheese are a quarter (use the $1/5 coupon found here).

Check out your local Wags and see what’s still available.  I won’t print a complete list, ’cause, frankly?  most of it is going very fast.  Ask your store managers for other items being clearanced.  Hip2save mentioned Hefty bags ($1/2 in 2/20 rp; $1/1 football bk) football) …

i heard a rumor….. now closed – 1200 orders placed!

Update once again: I just placed my order with Coupon Dede (right sidebar).  Her coupons are going for .15/each, no limit, with very low shipping costs and yes I know eBay may have sellers for less, but Dede is very fast, I’ve never heard of anyone getting screwed and you earn points for every coupon purchased, which can be applied to future purchases.  this now ends my commercial announcement and i return you to your previous post. Okay, although I have read on other sites that all Almay products are triggering the $5 RR, the actual ad says “participating product” so the following list are the only UPCs actually listed on Wags forms:  oil-free remover pads $7.99 (30997632200); intense mascara $7.99 (30997341202); nearly naked cover-up stick $7.99 (30997675902);   Clear Complexion $7.99 (30997676801); makeup remover towelettes $5.99 (30997592440); makeup remover 4 oz $5.99 (30997757708); eyeliner pencil $7.79 (30997271301).  As you can see, buying the $5.99 will get you the biggest bang for your buck:  $5.99 less 30% gets you down to $4.19, less the $2 mfr coupon and the $2 Wags coupon.  The Wags coupon will drop the tax down to 8.25% on $2.19 (or about .18).  So you’re OOP about .37 and will get back $5 RR.  Go get those coupons already!  NOTE: Steve will only be able to take special orders through tomorrow, March 11, at 2:30 pm.  This product comes from a different warehouse and he is making a large, special order of our combined requests.  If you want to place your orders with him, call either today (he will be working and accepting orders until 11 pm) or tomorrow at 2:30 pm.

I am unable to post all the deets until late Wednesday or early Thursday (when you’ll get products/colors/UPCs), but I can tell you that you must get your hands on those Wags Beauty booklets. All you need is one or two, so don’t swipe the very limited stash.  I can’t speak for every store (I’ve heard some horror stories from you guys), but at Steve’s Wags, one coupon will suffice for each customer; after the final transaction the Wags coupon is surrendered.   Obviously my recommendation is to shop at the store where you make the most money with the least grief. (and i think we’re talking quantity pre-orders here, peeps…)

I’ve read that there is supposed to be an Almay MM coming up in a couple of weeks which goes like this:  selected Almay cosmetics will be on sale for 30% off together with a $5 RR.   3/06 S has a $2/1 which stacks with the $2/1 in the new Wags Beauty booklet.  So pick up any cosmetic $8 or less (before discount) and you’re at about $5.  Subtract the $4 in coupons and pay a buck+ and get back $5.  I tested the Wags coupon and it does work on the make-up removers; the Almay mfr coupons states on Any Almay Cosmetic Product, so we’re good with that.

Tena Wags MM – Update, please read

Steve has printed out about 250 Tena coupons which he will tape on the product, so don’t worry if you have printer problems, memory problems, etc.

Update:  Apparently the smart ones among you called Steve to place orders; he was confused about the sale dates and told you that you had until the 27th…YOU DO NOT!  The sale runs concurrently with the Almay, so please call back and place your orders with Steve today, Saturday until noon or Monday before 10 am.  He thought he was in Illinois, but obviously he was in the state of Confusion…

This could possibly be a way to roll some of the Almay $5 RRs later on in the week.  $9.99 less the $2.50 coupon less the $5 RR leaves you OOP $2.49 and you get an expensive, in-demand product that usually sells for $12.99 and a $10 RR.  just a thought…

Here is some info for the 3/20 sale.  Tena (formerly Serenity) ultra thin pads will be on sale for $9.99 with a $10 RR.  Use this $2.50 Tena $2.50/1 coupon for a great MM opportunity (it’s a pdf).  This coupon comes directly from the Tena corporate website (I checked) and should have no trouble scanning.  Tena is an expensive brand that is quite a favorite with some older people.  If you know of anyone who uses this or are looking for a good stockpile sale item, go for it.

I am posting this deal now because those of you wishing to place large/pre/special orders with Steve should contact him now at 630/682-2582 and he will call the warehouse directly to place the orders.  Otherwise, it’s not an item they typically order in large quantities.

MM cereal deal at Wags – 7 am – still working!

Note: This is a complete screw-up (imo) because for every four cups of Fruity Pebbles purchased, you receive a $3 RR and a $3 OYNO mfr cat (just like a Jewel cat).  Hit any and all Wags you encounter, because this is an excellent way to roll those Motrin RRs!  So far I’ve cleared out enough to run the deal 30 times.  I’m up a hundred bucks so far today… I suggest the 4 cup scenario because it allows you to use the $3 RR and .22 OOP for tax.  Spend .22 and earn $3 plus $3?  Yeah, that works. Do not call Steve to place any orders of any size – he is completely out.  No one knew about this deal in advance because it should not be happening – but is – sweet!

There is a national Post catalina running through March 20, which is somehow being triggered by the individual cups of Pebbles (only) on sale with in-ad coupon for .79.  Here’s what you do:

Buy 3 Pebbles, get back $2 store rr and $2 mfr RR; buy 4, get back $3 and 3; buy 5, get back $4 store RR and $4 mfr RR.

This cat is working at all Walgreens.  If you are purchasing large amounts through Wheaton, please call Steve this afternoon or tomorrow to place your order (630/682-2582).

thanks to MUM for this heads up…

Pediacare update

For those of you still looking for Pediacare, the Wheaton Wags (Naper/Butterfield) put in a large order and still has sufficient stock for your deals.  It’s either free or a slight MM (.70), but if you need this stuff, better to get it free, especially since it’s usually the adult stuff that they run the best deals on.

Another PSA:  The Zero Coke deal with the Wags coupons (from two weeks ago) will be starting once again on the 13th.  Steve has put in a large order since you need five for each transaction.  Last time I ended up paying $1.58? for 5 packs of 12 cans after the $10 Wags coupon ($2 x 5) and a couple of Motrin RRs.  I’m going to be stocking up for the spring/summer, since I’ve cleared out the Sobe from my beverage basement.

(and don’t tell anyone, but i think the store coupon is coded to work on all coke products – like Diet Coke – shhhhh)

Wags

Off to my mom’s house, so ran to Wags for “stuff” for her:  two transactions of Swiffer products.  2 WetJet refills (BOGO 2/27 P&G and .50/1 P&G mailer) and 15 Wonka bars on clearance for .70 each ($1/1 3/6 S).  Used two Motrin RRs and ended up OOP $2.97.

Next ran the four Swiffer dry refills and two fruit snacks for fillers (BOGO 2/27 P&G).  Paid with two Motrin RRs and $1.51 in US currency.  Got a $3 RR on each transaction.

Update:  Steve reads this site and accused me of “cheating” on him with cvs.  Next time you’re in his store, please assure him of our undying affection for him and his wonderful staff.

Wags

Hit up the Hinsdale Wags again today and swapped out 3 MotrinRRs for the Baby Magic wash.  They still have lots of the lotion, so make your moves.  Tax is .22 each bottle.

Dominicks and expired coupons, a road trip…

Heard a rumor…that the Dominicks in Western Springs will accept expired mfr coupons through April 1.  And no, that was not an early April Fool’s joke.  Decided to drive on over – getting lost along the way – which was part of the master plan, ’cause I saw a Wags in Hinsdale with lots of Baby Magic lotion and wash!  Grabbed four (tax was only .22 each); did not check on the Nasogel, but there was no MotrinPM.

So, arrive at the Dominicks in Western Springs (just east of Wolf on 47th Ave) and ask CS if they do accept them:  YES!  If they are mfr coupons and the register accepts them (she said that 99% of them are going through).  Note that this does not include the OYNO coupons (boo), but it does include the Free Soda, etc. cats floating around.  I decided to try using those soda cats on the 12 pks of Coke.  It’s B2G2 and figured I could use three or four of the cats – no.  Only 2 because I’m buying two.  Well, hell’s bells, the day I spend seven bucks for two 12 packs, you can slap my ass and call me Sally!  Yes, that is what I would pay for four 12-packs after subtracting the $6 cats…

So now I’m going back and being smart about this.  There is a Supercoupon for $2.49 6-packs, limit 4.  My cats are up to $3, so three cokes right there.  Now to check out the sales paired with any expired coupons.  wish me luck…

two times Target and a visit to Wags

hi, ho, we go…On the way to the Woodridge Target, I stopped at the Wags on 53 and Maple.  Pitiful…2 lonely Nasogels looking for a nice warm basement.  i obliged.  and made a fast six bucks…  take that, motrinPM!!

Target got a total of seven more pants.  Three for me and four for PITA (in larger sizes for next year or so).  That both our pants say “skinny” strikes me as wrong on so many levels.

Oh, Michelle?  I checked, but couldn’t find any size 18s so I guess you’re SOL.

Somewhere over the rainbow

and now that i have your attention…

This Wags with product does not exist.  I just brought some from my basement stash, shelved them, snapped the picture and took them back.   When Steve came out of his office they were on the shelf and he about had a stroke!  So, no, Wheaton has NO MotrinPM in stock at all.  Do not go there thinking this picture is anything but a pipe dream.  cause it ain’t.  One of my readers is road tripping it to Rochelle, IL where she has located 40+ MotrinPM.  She plans to pair it up with the Tylenol Precise.  Will make only $2 per transaction, but more transactions.   I’ll update as I hear more ’cause it’s a cool idea (and not very far away).

The new Diabetes & You Spring 2011 issue is out:

As is a new beauty booklet that was put out today.
