Rollin’, rollin,’ rollin’, rewards!
Update: Ordered my coupons from Dede.
Just saw this on hip2save and NOW I understand why peeps have been asking for rain checks…
Buy participating Nescafe Taster’s Choice products and get a Register Reward
Buy 2, get $2 RR; 3 get $3 RR; 4 get $4 RR
Buy 4 Nescafe Taster’s Choice 7pks 2/$2, use four .50/1 (2/13 r), get back $4 RR or a $2 MM. If you throw in a Snickers egg as filler (a burden, I know) or a .15 pencil, pay with the Plackers $2 RR and you’ve made $2 and extended the RR another two weeks. We just tested this and the RR prints just as it should.
This promotion runs through 4/17, so plenty of time to use any rain checks or to order coupons. Coupon Dede has them for .07 with lots in stock. I don’t see this coupon in any of my inserts, Trib or otherwise, so I’m guessing that this was a regional coupon and the only way to get it will be to order. These coffee sticks are great to pair with the free Swiss Miss we picked up at Jewel – instant cafe mocha!
day trippin’
Off to visit mommy today, so stopped first at Bleeding Heart Bakery in Oak Park. You remember, it was all due to that Groupon from months ago that I even tried this place. In this case, the Groupon definitely worked, because I stopped without a coupon, they don’t take register rewards and I was forced to turn over large amount of US currency. it’s that good.
Remember that Freezooka from a short while ago: Big Fish? Well, we decided to head on over there for a late lunch and made the short drive from Oak Park. Most people, seeing the name “Big Fish” would assume that this was a seafood emporium, right? This is where that ass u me saying comes in – it’s a Polish restaurant! Yes, they have a number of fish items on the menu, but they also have pierogis and goulash. and tiramisu. and steaks. hmmm, maybe time for a name change…
Anyway, the food was really good, service was excellent and prices very reasonable – we
took home lots of leftovers. In case any of you have this $25 voucher in your Buyzooka account, here’s some pictures of the various dishes we enjoyed.

Museum Day
Well, today was Museum of Science & Industry day for us; how could a blogger be more industrious, I’d like to know. Ran a few loads of laundry before we left, then hit the first Jersey Mike’s for subs to take with. Hours upon hours later, we stop at another Jersey Mike’s and take dinner to go. Their giant Reuben is incredible! I’m so glad I took their Freezooka a while ago – it’s sitting all nice and safe in my Buyzooka account. Anywho, here’s a couple of pictures from today. See? I couldn’t stay away from Wags!
And here’s a little something that I found amusing:
Free Jersey Mike Subs today
When I signed up for the Freezooka Jersey Mike sub a few weeks ago I didn’t think much about it; in point of fact, I haven’t redeemed my free sub yet! Bad Goddess!
In today’s email was a FREE Sub for donating to the charity of choice for each city for Make a Difference Day. Chicago’s charity is Children’s Memorial. So click here, see where your stores are and eat, eat, eat! Note that some cities have specific times for this promotion, but Chicago has no limited times.

Click here to receive a 2 diaper pack of Fred’s diapers, which states:

Since you have nothing to lose, why not? The closest one I see in IL is south of Springfield. But maybe they’ll show up in the Chicagoland area. and free is good…

A fun time-waster
Just wasted about 20 minutes to score a .50/2 coupon for Suave Professionals products. yeah, like that’ll help anyone. sheesh. Anyhoo, click here and play this game where they present two models for every product, do nasty things to them (and it’s funny) in the hopes that the stylist will be able to pick the Suave vs professional product line. You have eight little clips and you have to score 4 to win a free product. And honestly? sometimes the stylists are right and sometimes they’re wrong, so just guess.

BOGO Pretzel Crisps

If you “like” Pretzelcrisps.com on FB you can print out a BOGO coupon with a value up to $3.99; expiration date is 5/31/2011. A nice free snack for the Memorial Day cookouts, as I believe these are still on BOGO at Jewel through today (get a raincheck if not in stock).
