Free Snapple?

I just read on CW about a Snapple no-refund-form-required rebate going on right now.

Mail your name and address on a 3×5 card or postcard with original receipt dated between 1/1 and 3/1/11 (postmarked by 3/18/11), together with the UPC from a 6 pk.  The rebate is good for a 6 pack of Snapple up to $6.99. (note:  prior checks have been for a flat $6.99,  whether or not coupons are used)

Mail rebate request to the following address:

Snapple 6 Pack Rebate Offer
PO Box 40896
Houston TX 77240

Please allow 6 to 8 weeks before receiving the check.  (me again:  and it will take all of that time, believe you me)

Rebate is good for as many people you would like per household but only one rebate per person, although all rebates can be mailed in the same envelope.

I’ve still got Snapple in the basement from the last go-round, but DH just discovered his new BFF, so time to stock up!

Many, many thanks to OP mickk6.

Email, we forget to check our email…

While slogging through email, I came across a site that, apparently, is devoted to free stuff.  She’s currently offering a $30 Office Depot card giveaway to those commenting in various ways by Friday.  If you’re interested it’s called FreeStuffPlox (well, even if you’re not interested it’s called FreeStuffPlox) and I’ve put a handy-dandy link right here.  I also checked; she’s legit, so don’t worry.

Wall of Celsius

A reader/friend who stocked up during the crazy MM weeks last summer decided she really didn’t like the taste, nor did her friends.  Since she knows that both my husband and son drink this stuff, she graciously donated it to us.  A public thank you to Michelle!

Wags

Tried another Wags – no Sinex, one Celsius, extremely limited Loreal clearance items, no Omega 3, no Natrol…not feeling the luv here, folks.

Ended up with the make-up stuff shown here: don’t know what it is and don’t care ’cause it got me overage.  3 milk, 1 Celsius, 5 make-up thingies.  OOP $5.17, got back $8 RRs.  How?  I had two L’oreal mailer coupons from Wags for $6/3 and $3/2. They said mfr coupons, but had only 0000 UPCs  and no addresses, so if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck… stacked the real mfr coupons from 1/2 rp2 and 11/14 R2, a .55 Deans milk hangtag I found somewhere along with the $1 Celsius pdf.

This is the way I’m forced to get free milk when there aren’t any easy deals around…

Coupons.com

I don’t post much about this, but you should periodically check to see what’s been added over there.   The Wardley $2/1 product is a sweet one I try to get as many prints of as possible (before it hits the print limit).  Depending on the store, you can score either very cheap or free fish food when you buy the small containers.  which i do. like it’s a surprise…

Hit the button on the right sidebar for coupons.com and click pet food, unless you want to first check out all the other coupons.   (Be aware that the Wardley coupon fills the entire page.)  I think each coupon nets me two cents…be generous…

and then on to Jewel

Found an instant potato cat expiring today and had to hit Jewel.  Good thing I did because the clearance rack was back!  It goes away during holidays and is only now reappearing.

So, here’s our stuff: instant potato pack; 6 packages of “Christmas”  rice (Wehani – a natural red strain) for $1.75; 3 packs wild rice for $3.75 each; 2 Java Delight Christmas blend for $2.25; 1 pack clearance cube steak (DH’s new BFF) $1.51 and 6 packages of Sunsweet dried Mango slices ($2.25).  Lest you think I’ve gone fruit-crazy, a check of my handy-dandy coupon database showed .75/1 in 12/5 s.

Total was almost $50, but I used $37.50 in RRs and the meat coupon to get down to $6.79 of which .78 was tax.  I’ll return with my $6 in Sunsweet mfr coupons tomorrow and get the cash back.

Clothing Exchanges

thredUP_kids clothing swap_free membership

I read about this company last month in the Trib and thought it was a great way to buy clothes and toys – save time and money.  And honestly, the garage sales the past couple of years have totally sucked.  they’re probably all exchanging stuff on ThredUP

Jewel February Free Freezer

Every year (for at least the last 6+  years now), Jewel has offered small 5.2 cu inch freezers (igloo) for $149.99.  This in itself is a good deal because they usually sell for about $169 or more BUT, the coupons attached to the freezer really make the deal.  Prior years provided coupons worth $150 in free items.  Yes, that’s right.  Free.  So naturally you take those coupons and, unlike most people who immediately redeem them, hold onto those suckers until the sweet siren’s BOGO call.

Yeah, well that’s how it worked in prior years, but last year they pulled a fast one and shortened the redemption period from December 31 to May 31, which effectively blew that BOGO dream.  Still, for those peeps needing/wanting a second (or third, or…) freezer, it’s a pretty sweet deal.  CW confirmed with Jewel that they’ll be running this in 2011, but there’s no confirmed dates or amounts yet (although it’s usually held in the beginning of February).  I’ll update as needed…

Free CFLs at Ace – Update

Everything went well today at Ace.  Only 11 coupons, but that’s better than nuttin’, right?  Cashier said she couldn’t give me the buck value of each coupon, but would have to adjust it down to .99, so I’m out the entire .79 tax.  I can live with that!  The best part of this deal is that ALL the cfl bulbs were $ .99:  40; 60; 75 and 100 watt (equivalents).  Most giveaways and sales involve the 60 watt bulbs, so I’ve never gotten the others.  Byw the higher watts are priced at $6.49 and $6.99,  so i guess you could say: watt’s up? but i hope you don’t

Ace Hardware is running a sale on the GE Energy CFL bulbs – $4.49 value (hah!) for .99.  Use the $1/1 coupon from 11/21 S for totally free light!

Sorry for the late posting, but I just got around to opening up today’s paper.  But focusing on the positive, at least I got dressed!

Tide Stain Release update

Remember way back – waaaay baaaack – on December 3, when I announced that Tide was giving away a full-size Stain Release Spray when you “liked” them on FB?  Well, completely forgot about it until this arrived in today’s mail.  Only a month later, including two major holidays?  I’m super impressed.  Hope you all got yours.
