That blows. I always follow your blog to get the best deals there. Please forward me any deals that are up and coming.
Screw that Walgreens, I will go elsewhere and take the humiliation that sometimes I get with couponing closer to home then. I will not drive an hour away now to assist a store with their sales when they are not worth an effin penny!!! I love this blog and what it believes!!! Yay Chris!

See, we don’t really need to be concerned about right and wrong here; not our business at all. We contribute a heck of a lot to a store’s (any store’s) bottom line with very little worry that they’ll get stuck with unwanted products. All we ask is that we are treated nicely and we deal with professionals who value our business. In this case, we are left with a situation where there is no back-up and no trained replacement – there is no one who understands the deals and how to navigate the warehouse warren. No thought was given to how this would affect us – nothing at all. So, the Goddess say: F ’em and we’re walking.

I am with you Goddess! I have only been following your blog for about 6 months but I love It! You have saved me a ton of money, hooked me up with Emily and others that understand “us”. I trust you and your judgement -it is their loss. Screw them!
I’m fairly new to your site, so forgive me if it’s general knowledge….is there a recommended Walgreens in the area that’s coupon-friendly and possibly even order-friendly? 🙂
It depends where you live. Around the western suburbs, we use the Walgreens in Lisle on Maple Avenue & Rte 53 for both your requests; same goes for the Wheaton store on Naper Blvd just north of Butterfield; Shorewood has Matt… let’s see. Tell us where you are and others readers will reply with more info.
Sorry about that. I should have been clearer….I’m in the far-north-west Naperville area, so Wheaton, Naperville, etc is better, but I’m willing to trek a bit if needed. Near the Ogden CVS would be ideal, as I’ve fallen in love with that location. Lol I’ve actually been to the Wheaton Wags a few times, but must not have had the “right” cashier.
Our choosing a store is not contingent on having one or two good cashiers. If all the cashiers aren’t on board with the store manager’s agenda, then they either get retrained or dumped. Next time you have any issues at all with a cashier at one of “our” stores (any chain), use the contact tab on the top to tell me directly the issue and we’ll work to resolve it.
I’ll def try the Wheaton store again, as it has been several months since I tried couponing there and I trust your recommendations. 🙂 Is there a specific person I should ask for for ordering? Any helpful hints too about best time to place orders, order size minimum, etc are greatly appreciated….as the stores near me won’t write a raincheck, let alone (gasp) place an order, so this will be my first experience ordering from Wags. I had only wanted 5 of something too! I’m pretty smalltime over here (some of the time). Lol And thanks for the recommendations and the great website!
Just a heads up on the nasel ease @ walgreens. My store in elgin off summit road told me to tell all my friends to come there because they have about 500 in stock. Thanks 2 you I was able to tell him what to order in advance. And everyone is coupon friendly there. I jus love this place.

Head up elgin summit walgreens won’t reduce a rr only coupons. Also call ahead of time because they r gettn swarmed and running low. Already. Trust me I’ve seen the inventory and its flying out the door. By us and the regulars.
