CVS – Centrum ProNutrient update

Confirmation that the Magic Coupon Machine $5 off any Centrum ProNutrient product is printing more than one coupon per week, so make sure and stop in and scan your card(s) daily for an incredible MM.  Buy in sets of three, pay $28.97 less the $21 in insert coupons and the $15 in store coupons:  $6.03 in overage and a $10 gift card of your choice.  Remember, you can earn up to FIVE gift cards per week per card.

PSAs right and left

1.  If people in other areas are not finding the yellow tail rebate in their local CVS ad this week, let me know and I can grab a bunch and send them out.

2.  Don’t forget the Fannie May $10 coupon giveaway ends tomorrow at 5 pm.

CVS – Centrum ProNutrient MM! – update

Just got back from CVS – the Magic Coupon Machine is printing $5 coupons off any Centrum ProNutrient on all cards.  I will check tomorrow if it’s a one-time coupon or I can print one per day.   As it is, we’re talking about $3.97 OOP for each $10 gift card; if we can get one per day we’ll be looking at $6.03 in overage for each $10 gift card.  This is serious cash.

The Centrum ProNutrient 50 ct pack is on sale for $9.99 starting today at CVS and there is a $7 coupon in today’s SS.  Buy three and get the $10 gift card (remember, ecbs trigger at 98% threshold).  Since there’s no limit on these (well, the limit for gift cards is five per week), you could “buy” 15, pay $44.85 ($149.85 less $105) and get $50 in gift cards.  Make sure to scan your card(s) at the Magic Coupon Machine because they’ve been spitting out $5 ProNutrient coupons.

This deal can be run, obviously, at any CVS store.  Naperville has already run out (I believe) and is substituting – they have another 100 ordered for this week’s shipment.  They are also issuing rain checks, so head on over and grab your’s.

Jewel – the total ain’t pretty

I’m sitting on a stack of Register Rewards expiring NOW.  Let’s face it, the Wags deals have sucked donkey balls lately, right?  This year’s Jingle Bucks is an insult to our intelligence (use it with a $30 purchase – puhleeze!).

Yesterday I spent about $50 or $60 in RRs at Wags, stocking up on Nips for my mom (boy is she gonna be surprised!).  She likes them, they get stashed in her freezer and they’re on sale.  and i had to burn those stupid… ahem…

So you see here my Jewel purchases:  Two large packages of pork roast for carnitas were about $20 (in the oven as we speak) – the two packages of tortillas and three limes go with.  The four salads were BOGO and I’m hungry since I didn’t eat lunch, so can pretend I’m eating healthy (I have a very active imagination, okay?).  The bread was FREE using a cat that PITA found, same for the Jewel brand biscuits and a $2 Produce cat was thrown in for good measure.  The Homelife paper towels were thrown in ’cause they’re free and you can never have too many, right?  The Scott catalina purchases you already can figure out.  I took 12 of those puny Jewel chilis (mild) because they were clearanced out at 10¢ a can – the jars of jalapeno were 35¢.  The two quarts of light whipping cream are what I use in my coffee – no coupons and no sales – boo hoo.

Ended up using four $9.50 RRs and $1.75 for the main transaction; the two additional Scott ones were $1.63 each.  I ended up with 21 game tickets…with no winners whatsoever.  Between Jewel and Walgreens, it’s hard to know who’s out to screw us more –  who’d of thought CVS would end up being our go-to store!?

PSAs 1 and 2

1.  My Furi knives from the December 1 ASaleADay deal came today!  Only one week between purchase and delivery!  They are really getting their act together, folks.  And these knives are beeyutiful!

2.  CVS – yellow tail deal.  Even though it’s not pictured and the Naperville CVS store doesn’t carry it, I nonetheless brought a bottle of the yellow tail moscato to scan.  YES!  It is in the CVS system, so if you want this variety, go for it!  I personally ordered two full cases.  The moscato is a very light wine, perfect with all food groups – especially Snickers Nutcrackers.

CVS – wine alert

Just got a call from Emily with a request:  Please call today before 3 pm with any of your yellow tail requests.  If you want a mixed lot, or full sets of 12 or whatever, just so she has your info and can place those orders.  If you are running the yellow tail with the Miller 12-pk, please let Emily know which variety of Miller you want (Lite, MCD, etc.).

thank you. this now concludes our wine alert.  had this been an actual wine emergency, you would have been instructed to hit your stockpiles hard and heavy with straws in hand.

CVS – Norelco Razors update

Just got off the phone with Emily – 60 razors came in and were gone by 7:01.  WOW!  Next week’s delivery deal will be handled slightly differently due to school finals:  Call Emily next Wednesday at noon since she will be off on Thursday.  Wednesday morning won’t work because she won’t have the actual shipment to verify amounts.

Valuable IPs to print now

And when I mean NOW, it’s hit the print button, okay?

Here’s a John Frieda BOGO Root Awakening product pdf.  It’s a Walgreen store coupon showing an expiration date of 12/31/11.  This week Wags has a B1G1 50% off sale on all John Frieda hair care products, but you’re not gonna get a better deal because the register will take off the second one, which is the cheapie to begin with!   Maybe you can find some clearance ones?  No sale (that I see) for next week.

Sally Hansen – $2.00 off Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips.. Sally Hansen will be B1G1 50% off next week at CVS (the 11th) – Even if your CVS won’t allow two coupons on BOGO deals, this one works because it’s only 50% off! A great price for these.

Candy coupons are always good ’cause there are some fantastical sales already.
NESTLE® Jingles – $2.00 off any THREE (3) bags of NESTLE® Jingles Candy
Wonka® – $1.00 off TWO (2) Wonka® Candy Canes
Wonka® – $1.00 off any TWO (2) Wonka® Fantastical Fun Books

12/4 CVS – Norelco razor – $10 MM

UPDATE:  Here’s a comment from Kitty about today’s CVS trip.

SO..I bought 3 Norelco Shavers @$39.99…they actually take my 3-$30 coupons, no problem….so do you think I get 3-$10 gift cards?   NOPE  Only 2 , cuz the 2 limit is actually 2 limit.  SO…I return one of the 3 shavers and try this:  Buy 2 more Norelco shavers @ $39.99 and 2 Garnier moisturizers @ $5 that are part of the buy $30 get $10 card.  OK..so now I should get $30 in gift cards, right?  WRONG.  It is explained to me as follows:  In the ad where the shaver is pictured, it says you get a $10 gift card WYB the shaver.  THAT means exactly what it says, but apparently the $79.98 I spent DOESN’T go towards the $90 even if I spend another $10 on participating products. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?  So I returned the $10 worth of Garnier on the spot.

This clearly shows that this Norelco gift card promotion is separate from the Buy $30 promotion running on the other items.  On one hand, it means you can score $70 in gift cards this week…but on the other hand, you have to actually pay for most of it.  Unless, of course, you drive in to Naperville…

The week of December 4, CVS will have the Norelco razors on sale for $39.99.  They’re part of the Buy $30 get $10 gift card promotion, so if you never got a rain check, it’s a good deal.  Ad says limit 2, but if they don’t hold to that, you can run it this way:  Buy three razors for $119.72, use three $30 coupons and get back $40 in gift cards.  You’ll end up with a $10 MM (ecbs trigger at 98% of the threshold; I am guessing it’s the same with the gift cards?).  Otherwise, throw in a small anything for thirty cents.

Cheap Starbucks coffee at CVS today only

CVS  is selling Starbucks 12 oz coffees for $6.99 through today only.  Tomorrow’s paper (available today) contains two coupons:  $3/2 and $1/1. Buy three bags for $20.97 minus $4, pay $16.97.  The SB coupon says if you buy three bags or more you can get a $5 card at starbucksholidayoffer.com.  Purchases must be made in one transaction before 12/31/11.

Target will have the coffee on sale starting tomorrow with a wider range of flavors, but not as sweet a deal. Rachel points out that the Target deal involves getting a $5 Target gift card at the register, so Buy 3 at $7.99 each ($23.97), use $3 in coupons and pay $20.97.  Get a $5 Target gift card and mail in the rebate form for a $5 Starbucks gift card.  Bottom line is $10.97 for 3 bags of Starbucks ($3.65).
