Naperville has ordered 200 for Wednesday delivery. Should they not come in, there’s always rain checks. Naperville is one of the stores that do rain checks for gift card items, so that’s one less worry. On other stores, just find out when their deliveries are made and if they issue rain checks for gift card items. As I said before, this is a store-by-store decision, not corporate.

I’m hoping to catch them when they restock at my CVS by work. The plan is to use the gift cards to purchase the Yellow Tail so my out of pocket on yellow tail is as close to zero as possible.

I could see you getting shot down on using ecbs, but on gift cards? Isn’t that the whole purpose of them, to be able to use them the same as cash? Otherwise, what’s the point of giving them as gifts?

Which ever cvs is saying that you can’t use a gift card they are wrong. The policy is a money card can not be used to purchase alcohol, tabacco, gift cards, postage stamps, money orders, pre paid cards and prescriptions. The only way you should be recieving a money card is on a refund without a reciept.
