Jennifer reminds us that we’re supposed to get a $3 coupon off Iams dog food with no size restrictions (okay, I’m kinda behind in emails). Last time it was a single page (stand-alone), so keep your eyes open. Target (and I believe Walmart) sells small pouches of Iams dry food for $3 or under so FREE dog food! Remember, if you don’t have a dog, you can always pick some up and donate it to a local shelter. Yeah, you’re paying high tax, but helping out so much….

Whole Foods and Walmart combo shopping – wtf?
Well, Rachel and I were finally able to do our brunch thing (after two weeks!) because all our darling children are back in school! woot!!! Used a livingsocial restaurant voucher in Wheaton and then headed over to the Dananda Whole Foods, where MUM needed/wanted the Glutino white bread which was on sale for $2.99 (normally even crazier, like $5.69) and there were coupons! I decided to schlepp along and pick up more Celestial Seasonings tea.
Since the tea is now down to $1.50, you need eight boxes to use up the 50¢ overage on every box (sticking to their on again/off again six coupon limit), so you see here two transactions (Rachel and mine) totalling 16 boxes. OOP was .36, but that’s okay, ’cause I made it up at Walmart…
Actually stopped at the Glen Elyn store on Rte 53 to pick up some of those single size packs of Teddy Grahams, using the $3/3 on the back page of yesterday’s SS (the essentials one). This must be sold at the SuperWalmarts only because Rachel and I walked all through the grocery aisles and could not find any of the individual size crackers or cereal – none. Since I was there anyway, decided to use the last of my $5 K-Y cats and just cash out. So Walmart paid me $9.77 to take these fine products off their shelves and into my home. A gracious gesture, no? And everything went smoothly…
Walmart for PM on Old Spice +$6.83
WM and CVS today
Did a quick run to Walmart to score some KY overage. They had four boxes of the $2.84 stuff on the shelf, so at least some overage. The Glen Ellyn store does not carry the Muir Glen product line, so check your local store…perhaps it’s a SuperWalmart item only.
Then off to CVS for Skinny Cow, among other things. You see here eight boxes of the Bayer Advanced 20 ct. These were the .99 Black Friday deals that didn’t come in, so we all got rain checks. The $1.50 coupons make for some nice overage, which I used to bring down the crazy prices on the Proglide razor and cartridges. P&G is really going to piss off people, not just couponers…While I was standing in line, an older man came up to buy the large pack of cartridges using the $5 coupon. Hadn’t read the wording and was, frankly, pissed. He said that all the past coupons were for $5 off, not buying two products so forget it. Bad move, P&G.
But on a positive note, here’s what we can do with this razor deal: Buy two Proglide razors at $10.99 each. Use the $5 coupon and you’re down to $16.98. Each product earns you $5 in ecbs, so $6.98 scores two razors and four cartridges, the same count as the $17.79 package!
The above scenario is only guaranteed at the Naperville CVS – all other stores ymmv.
New coupons.com IPs
A couple of really decent ones on the coupons.com site:
$0.75 off any Muir Glen product is a fantastic one to use at Walmart, where the Muir Glen tomato paste is usually less than a buck. Print as many of these as you can and use your K-Y overage to prevent any OOP! More pet food coupons to print and hold. I’ll check out the Purina WM prices later today.
There is an additional .85 Muir Glen product coupon on the Betty Crocker site, but you must be registered to print. Two print limit per account.
$5.00 off one package of Purina Pro Plan
Buy two get two free cans of PURINA dog food
Buy two get two free cans of PURINA cat food
$3.00 off Purina Pro Plan Dry Cat Food
Wags & Walmart pair up well $$$
I honestly don’t remember which site I first saw this on, so apologies in advance. When you buy the LifeStyles SKYN condoms at Walgreens this week you not only get a $5 RR (they’re on sale for $4.99), but a $5 mfr coupon good on any K-Y product. Naturally, I headed over to Walmart, where they sell this K-Y product for $2.84. Had 15 of the string cheese coupons to use, so it wasn’t the only overage item in the cart. Unfortunately, Walmart only had the 3 boxes, but the coupon is good through the 22nd of March, so long enough to score some serious overage.
and you have no idea of how embarrassed a fifteen-year old will be when you’re buying condoms and lubricant.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for $39.99
Looks like the latest release is on sale on all platforms for this price. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the Amazon link; Target and Best Buy (I won’t post Best Buy links because their site is the absolutely worst retailer’s site I have ever tried to use) are the same price. Walmart.com shows all platforms between $49.99 and $59.99.
Walmart last minute gift deals
Walmart has a way to get you those last-minute gifts in time for Christmas: Buy online and pick up at the store. Here’s a few ideas from an email they sent me:

They have Blu-ray disc players for under a hundred bucks and lots more deals on electronics. There’s a sweet red Nintendo 3DS for $169.96.
