CVS and Coke products

No, no, no…capital C means the drink, little c means… Anywho, CVS has Coke products (refrigerator packs) on sale the week of the 15th and the 22nd.  Changing around things, but the prices remain the same:  Spend $30 on selected products and get a $10 CVS gift card.  On the 15th, buy 12 packs of Coke products for $30 (they’re 4/$10 – limit 4 at other stores) and you’ve scored a $10 card, bringing your cost down to $20 for 12 packs, or $1.667 per 12-pack or 13.8¢ per can.  If you are going to be running this in numbers at Naperville, give Emily a call with quantities.  This isn’t through the warehouse (praise Jesus!), so we’ll get all we want.

The next week’s ad includes Coke in the same Spend $30 deal, but it’s 2/$5.  What, do they think we’ll be confused?  The bottom line number remains the same:  $1.667 a 12-pk.  Again, give Emily a call.

CVS – Finish is in – update on coupons

Looks like people are willing to toss in their Finish coupons, so I can do no less:  I’m turning over my 36 coupons to Emily today.  I’ll just have the moosies lick the plates clean.  Since my family doesn’t read this blog, I think I can get away with it…

Okay, here’s the FInish scoop:  The first seven people on the list will get their quantities – the rest will get rain checks with notations for $10 in ecbs.  And yes, they did get a ton of product in…but you guys ordered a ton and a half (remember I said it was up to 600 by mid-afternoon Sunday)!  So Candice, Ellen, Steve, Beth, Nicole, Joey and Heather, please call Emily first thing tomorrow and arrange for pick up.  The rest of you should plan to stop in within the next couple of days to get your rain checks.  I’m not taking my Finish now, but will wait with a rain check for the next couple of weeks.  ’cause nobody needs to be this clean…

CVS – L’Oreal hair color redux

Stop me before I set up a Sally’s outlet!  This is getting to be a serious addiction, folks.  Each time I score another $10 in ecbs.  It’s all high tax (maybe $3?) but since I’m paying the tax out of gift cards I DON’T CARE!  I don’t know how many times the L’Oreal deal will roll, but get it while you can.

CVS more hair color clearance

Weirdly enough, the L’Oreal Spend $25 get $10 ecb does not appear to have a cap!  I’ve done it a couple of times and still the multiples of $25 keep showing up.  So as long as I have coupons, CVS stores and gas I’ll continue.  Also, keep your eyes open for the John Frieda clearance foam hair colors at $3.44 – there’s a $3 coupon in 12/4 s.  hehehehehe

This is getting, frankly, ridiculous! but fun!

CVS – L’Oreal hair color MM

CVS has a huge clearance (75% off) on selected colors/brands of L’Oreal hair colors and they are working towards the Spend $25 get $10 ecb promotion!  The Root Rescue boxes are slightly over $2 with the most expensive, Couleur Experte Express, going for over $4.  Make sure you get over $25 after high tax and then use the 2/$5 from the 1/1/12 rp to get your price down to tax.  I’ve maxed out three cards here at two stores (I wanted to make certain other CVS locations had the same clearance prices), so the deal works.

I don’t how long either the deal will work or there will be clearance stock, but clip those coupons and carry them with you (there is also a $2/1 so you could get three boxes on one insert, although you’d pay 50¢ more.  And I can’t give you an exact figure, but this was pretty much just tax, which I paid with a gift card and then got my $30 in ecbs back.

thanks to hip2save

CVS has ’em!

Only picked up a few, but use those Nabisco $3/3 coupons on any of the .99 snack bags at CVS (I ended up paying 21¢ tax).  Want or need a sizable quantity, call Emily Wednesday afternoon.  At least at CVS you don’t need to argue with the cashier that you shouldn’t be getting these for free!

CVS – Finish coupons – All update

Update:  Nicole just tried the All and it’s ringing up at $4 (not the $2 from yesterday).  you snooze…

I’m setting this as a new post for those of you who follow on Twitter.  Here’s a list of the first ten people who called with their orders.  I would guess that the first five will get all their coupons and then fewer and fewer as you go down the line – remember, we’re talking at least 600 boxes (and probably more); many people ordered 45.

Emily won’t be in until Wednesday afternoon and she’s the ONLY one who has any idea of what’s going on coupon-wise/order-wise.  If you call over there you will be told stuff like they don’t have coupons, the coupons are gone, they can’t find the list…This is good, because it means we hid the stuff real good.  So here’s the top ten:

Candice; Ellen (who was shopping at CVS yesterday); Steve H.; Beth; Nicole; Joey L.; Heather F.; Kim W.; Carey Sue; Melissa.  Note that these names came from Mike, and that’s all he knows, so don’t waste your time calling over there.

The rest of you can take a chance on getting the free coupons, depending on high up the food chain you are – – I personally wouldn’t chance it and would order coupons in whatever quantity you need/want.  Dede had them for a quarter yesterday with no limit but I haven’t checked today – I don’t know what the eBay sellers are getting.  There’s always the possibility that we’ll clear the warehouse and have to wait for more Finish.

Cvs – Finish coupon info

Please hold off on your calls to CVS for a couple of hours. I’m getting the list info and I’ll have a better idea of who will get what. Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time to order and receive your coupons.

JUST DON’T CALL!

CVS Finish deal & coupons

I left at least 150 inserts at the Naperville CVS but as of very early this afternoon they’d already received orders for almost 600 (One of the guy cashiers got a crazy look in his eyes and said “it’s turning into the razors!).  Note that this number does not include those people who place large orders and provide their own coupons.  Obviously there will not be sufficient coupons to meet the demand, so I’d recommend ordering them from Dede or whoever you feel comfortable buying from.  Dede (the right side bar button) is currently selling the $2.15 coupon for 25¢ with no limit; you earn 5 points credit towards future purchases.  If you prefer eBay make certain the Seller has a high positive feedback score and read the reviews – a low number of positives posted by friends does you no good at all.  And don’t put off ordering because the cheapest coupon is worthless if you don’t get it in time.  end of sermon.
