CVS and Coke products

No, no, no…capital C means the drink, little c means… Anywho, CVS has Coke products (refrigerator packs) on sale the week of the 15th and the 22nd.  Changing around things, but the prices remain the same:  Spend $30 on selected products and get a $10 CVS gift card.  On the 15th, buy 12 packs of Coke products for $30 (they’re 4/$10 – limit 4 at other stores) and you’ve scored a $10 card, bringing your cost down to $20 for 12 packs, or $1.667 per 12-pack or 13.8¢ per can.  If you are going to be running this in numbers at Naperville, give Emily a call with quantities.  This isn’t through the warehouse (praise Jesus!), so we’ll get all we want.

The next week’s ad includes Coke in the same Spend $30 deal, but it’s 2/$5.  What, do they think we’ll be confused?  The bottom line number remains the same:  $1.667 a 12-pk.  Again, give Emily a call.

    • It’s always been a limit of five CVS gift cards per week ($50), or $150 in qualifying purchases. So in this case, say you only have one CVS card (which is all you’re supposed to have – bwahahahahaha- excuse me, but I crack myself up sometimes!), you could buy 12 cartons the week of the 15th and another 12 the 22nd. They have shorter expiration dates on the diet, but the regular ones are a few months further out.

      • Did you have any difficulties with running multiple coke transactions in the same day? Did it add to to your total accordingly for the CVS cash? Just checking as I had issues with some of the Loreal. Not all of them added to my $25 total, but I did end up with $20 cash and use $10 of that yesterday for free Coke. .

        • That’s really weird on the L’Ordeal hair color. I was running in sets of $25 per card. I would switch off cards just ’cause I don’t trust no stinkin’ machines. But each time it went slightly over, it showed that I had earned $xx towards my next $25 threshold.

On the Coke at CVS, only Naperville (as far as I know) will be issuing the $10 CVS gift card for the 12 boxes, since the ad limits the Coke to 4 at that price.

          • Hmmm, well I’ll test the Coke today to see if it adds to your card. It’s not a big deal if it doesn’t since this is for the office and I’m not paying for it.

          • Not really clear if this works I bought 8 12 packs of Coke in 2 separate transactions at the same CVS and my total says $40 spent towards the CVS Cash. The problem is that amounted need to earn the award list below that says $30 (should say $20), so it’s not subtracting, but it’s adding….. Wonder if that will be straightened out tomorrow.

  1. Does the naperville store have anything other than coke, diet coke and sprite? Out here in the boondocks that’s all they carry. I would highly consider making a roadtrip if I could get some Mr. Pibb, mello yello and cherry coke….what can I say, I’m weird! I like the OLD flavors!
