6/25: one SmartSource insert

One SmartSource insert in this week’s paper (6/25). Still a focus on allergies and pain – such are the days of our lives.  Not all papers carry the same coupons or values, so this national list might show coupons we don’t get around Chicago.

Jewel  U™ monthly freebie

While reading through some of the Flavor Adventure information, I found that my  U™ account gives me one freebie per month – had no idea random cans weren’t just dropping from the sky!  This month I got the TWO products pictured.  Keep checking your account ’cause you just never know …

iPhones from $120 on Woot!

iPhones from $119.99 over on Woot.  Apple products last years, so why spend the big bucks if you don’t need to?  Grab an older model, get more memory and put the savings in the bank.  These refurbished models look like a new model … after two weeks.  Rather unsettling that my model is no longer being offered 🙂

6/28 Amazon Fresh: 20% coupon

The 06/28 Amazon Fresh ad again has just the one 20% off $50 for Prime members.  Buy 2 Get 1 on Bare chicken or Angus beef, 49¢ each for peaches or nectarines means they better be some helluva big stone fruit.

6/21 Amazon Fresh: 20% Prime coupon

The 06/21 Amazon Fresh ad has just the one 20% off $50 for Prime members.  If you stock up on their private label goods you’ll usually save an additional 10% – and if you haunt the clearance stuff you’ll be hard-pressed to hit the $50 🙂

Walgreens: $4.79 Hanes Tees

For whatever strange reasons, Walgreens is clearing out their inventory of these Hanes 3pks for $4.79.  Check online to see if any convenient stores have your size in stock.  I got these at two stores, neither of which are my go-tos, so I didn’t have any pull, but lately that’s not saying much.

The first store range up at $13+ (shelf is over $18!), but overrode to match the online clearance price with no trouble; the second store – which rang up at $9+ – tried to tell me the price was only online.  Pointed out that it wasn’t available to purchase online, but only for pickup and showed this was the location.  Also pointed out that they didn’t have sufficient stock to buy $10 worth of shirts. Manager was in a meeting and cashiers were in a tizzy, so I offered to buy several packs in the wrong size to get up to the $10 threshold, then immediately return them after purchase.  They adjusted the price to $4.79.
