Buffalo wings, that is…sorry.  ahem.  A Groupon I seemed to have missed (probably ’cause it’s unlikely I would be driving here), this is $10 for $20 worth of American fare at Wings around the World in Chicago, a restaurant offering 54 flavors of wings from 9 countries.  wow, that’s a lotta choices…

Arboretum Groupon

Pay to visit plants…OK, go for it.  Today’s Groupon is a $5 ticket to Morton Arboretum in Lisle (normally $11, which includes parking).  They’ve already sold almost 5,000 of these Groupons!

$5 to visit 1,700 acres.  Wonder how much could I charge to visit my 2/3 of one acre?  I know!  I’ll accept RRs!

The other right sidebar deal that looks good is a $25 voucher for $12 to Macarena Tapas in Naperville.  This deal has sold about 250 so far!  Yikes! And what’s with these restaurant deals that specify you must purchase food?  Are people so desperate that they buy Groupons to sit at the bar and drink?  Hey, buddy, here’s a flash from the cape: pick up a jug and stay at home – you’ll save even more money!

One of the Groupon right sidebar deals is a $40 voucher for $20 to St. Charles Place Steak House.  Looks good, so I’m throwing it out there.  Must be a decent place because they’ve already sold almost 150 of these.

Today’s special Groupon is advance access tickets to The Lincoln Lawyer which premiers on Friday, March 18, and stars Matthew McConaughey and Marisa Tomei.

The deal is for $6 tickets, good for any showing during the first three weeks of the movie’s run, at any theater served by Fandango.
