Another whack your balls on the cheap

Now that I have your attention…This deal is only being posted because I’m trying to be fair here.  I have no interest in playing golf, watching golf, reading about golf.  kwim?  no golf.

Today’s Buyzooka is for a $30 VIP Golf Book (for $15) with discounts at 32 premier golf courses from Players Club Golf.  I checked the site and they have golf courses all around here, so that’s a plus.  and a twitter account to better follow the breath-taking action…

Buyzooka

This is weird; don’t know if I believe the testimonials and how difficult would it be to get your money back…but Hey! here you go:  Today’s Buyzooka is for the Whitening Lightning pen, which whitens your teeth 7-10 shades lighter over 14 days while you sleep.   This obviously wouldn’t work for MUM, because she never sleeps!  Inside joke, folks…

– Shipping is included!

day trippin’

Off to visit mommy today, so stopped first at Bleeding Heart Bakery in Oak Park.  You remember, it was all due to that Groupon from months ago that I even tried this place.  In this case, the Groupon definitely worked, because I stopped without a coupon, they don’t take register rewards and I was forced to turn over large amount of US currency.  it’s that good.

Remember that Freezooka from a short while ago:  Big Fish?  Well, we decided to head on over there for a late lunch and made the short drive from Oak Park.  Most people, seeing the name “Big Fish” would assume that this was a seafood emporium, right?  This is where that ass u me saying comes in – it’s a Polish restaurant!  Yes, they have a number of fish items on the menu, but they also have pierogis and goulash.  and tiramisu.   and steaks. hmmm, maybe time for a name change…

Anyway, the food was really good, service was excellent and prices very reasonable – we took home lots of leftovers.  In case any of you have this $25 voucher in your Buyzooka account, here’s some pictures of the various dishes we enjoyed.

Freezooka!

I’m posting this ’cause it’s free and there is probably someone out there who likes this stuff – you can guess my loyalties on Superbowl – the commercials!

Freezooka – FREE FOOD IS GOOD FOOD!

The first thing I do when I get these deals is to check the location(s); downtown Chicago just doesn’t cut it for most of my readers, no matter how great the deals seem.  Was just about to hit delete on this Chicago deal, when I realized that it is actually way the hell out of downtown:  Harlem and Addison, to be precise, which isn’t that bad at all!

This Freezooka is for a $25 voucher to Big Fish, at 7117 W. Addison St.
Chicago, IL. 60634.

Deets:
– Voucher expires 8/31/2011
– Limit 1 per person/email/account
– Limit 1 per table per visit
– Valid for tables of 4 or greater only
– Reservations are recommended
– Not valid with any other offers

In-home mani/pedi?

This I see as the ultimate in lazy-chic:  Today’s Buyzooka is $35 (normally $80) for an in your own home/work/wherever deal from Spa in your Space, a mobile spa service.   Although this deal is for nail care, they also offer facials, make-up, massage and waxing.  Boy would this make me feel like I hit the A list.

Deets:  Voucher expires 9/30/2011; In-home Signature Mani-Pedi valid within 35 miles of downtown Chicago; for individual, gift or parties; 3 per customer – buy more as gifts; appointments required (duh); non-transferable to other services; not valid with any other offers; not valid for tax, tip, or gratuity.

Buyzooka

Haven’t had a great Buyzooka in a while now;  today’s not the day to break the streak.  This Buyzooka is for an $85 VIP pass to Smuckers Stars on Ice 25th Anniversary Tour.  Are the supporting skaters called the Smucks and Smuckettes?  Corporate sponsorship has really got to step back a little.  Pass gets you in and a behind the scenes tour, yawn

Deets:  Voucher good for March 12, 2011 show only.

Buyzooka

Okayyyy, this Buyzooka goes out to my bravest readers:  $49 for a $99 Discovery Flight lesson (51% off) from Chicagoland Aviation, based out of Lewis University Airport in Romeoville.  I have a friend who pursued a private pilot license for years.  It’s very expensive just for lessons (forget the plane), so if this deal will fulfill someone near and dear to you’s secret wish or maybe you’ve just watched Airplane! one too many times, experience it on the cheap.

Deets: Valid for 2 seat aircraft – $15 upcharge for the 4-seater; minimum age 12(!); limit four vouchers per person – multiples may be purchased as gifts; flight/log qualifies as prerequisite for private pilot certificate; vouchers expire 8/31/2011.

Family hockey night package

Ugh!  I know, I know, shouldn’t be judgmental…maybe it’s just the fact that this sport is conducted on frozen water, but I’ve never been a huge hockey fan (learning politeness  – now to work on other social skills).  I’ve posted deals in the past which I thought were blahh, only to find out some people were actually interested in things and events outside of my scope!  who knew?

Today’s Buyzooka is for a $25 Family 4-Pack to see the Chicago Steel Hockey play Indiana Ice on Feburary 25, 2011 at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville.

Deets:  One night only. Package includes 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas, 4 Chicago Steel hockey pucks, 4 Chicago Steel game programs and 4 Chicago Steel signed player cards.
