Something for everyone, that’s my motto! Case in point is today’s Buyzooka, $15 for $35 worth of “stuff” at MovieGoods.com. I went to it and checked out a few areas, ’cause let’s face it, having a $35 value voucher when most of the stuff is $50+ is worthless. In this case, the posters I saw were $13.99 or less although there are packages available for more (like various Oscar combos).
My personal belief is that any place that tries to sell me something had better feed me first…but maybe this chow-less deal is worth it. Today’s Buyzooka is for BOGO tickets ($14/2) to the Old House New House show at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles. and it seems to me that I’ve got restaurant.com vouchers for brunch and meals here … hmmmm … Vouchers are good February 11-13, 2011 and expire February 13th.

All the massages shown are $100, with a 20% discount for new clients (gets us down to $80). Honestly? Forty bucks for an hour massage is dirt cheap – to have one come to your own home? Unbelievable deal! Deets: one voucher per customer, voucher expires August 1, 2011, extra charge for traveling over 60 miles from downtown Chicago.

Many years ago I attended one of their shows downtown and honestly, you cannot take in all the action going on around you. Not a hockey fan here, but if you are, today’s Buyzooka is a great outing for very little money. For $25 you get: 4 tickets, 4 hotdogs, 4 sodas, 4 Chicago Steel hockey pucks, 4 Chicago Steel game programs and 4 Chicago Steel signed player cards.
So unless they charge $25 for parking, it’s no more than a dinner out (even with restaurant.com) and you get to bring “stuff” back with you. especially those four hockey projectiles!

A $99/night stay in the Executive Suite? Not too bad a price for a romantic getaway, right? Of course, you remember the last time I bought one of these things during a silent charity auction, right? DH wanted to know why I had wasted my money… and yet he still breathes.
This voucher is good Sunday through Friday and expires April 1, 2011. I really like the sound of that walk in steam room, but ironing board and iron? not so much. Hey, romance in my soul does not include ironing! Well, unless you’re acting out the French maid fantasy – in which case, take along some of my ironing to make it really authentic. thanks!
