the disappearing Jewel Saturday Sampler
Hate digital coupons because they can disappear from your account between walking in the door and checkout and you’ll never know until the scan shows full price. Yesterday’s sauce had disappeared when I checked this morning. JoJo probably stole it.
Two Saturday Samplers showed up in my account today, a 16 oz can of Aguas Frescas and a 24 oz jar of waterfrontBISTRO Cioppino Sauce. Several flavors of Aguas Frescas show in the offer. Add to your U™ account before Sunday and redeem by Monday.
why, who wouldn’t love self-checkout?
Interesting article today about those annoying self-scan registers on CNN Business.
“Unexpected item in the bagging area.”
“Please place item in the bag.”
“Please wait for assistance.”
If you’ve encountered these irritating alerts at the self-checkout machine, you’re not alone. Here’s the link.

a Target card for free + $40 coupon
The $40 off $40+ Target RedCard promotion runs through 7/23. Apply online and you’ll get an immediate account number (write it down) so you can shop while waiting for the plastic card and $40 coupon. Coupon promotion is available online and in store, but then you have to get dressed. Choose debit or credit card. Valid for new accounts, but if you haven’t used your card in some time, check the status because Target automatically closes accounts after a period of inactivity.
And you just know Target is gonna compete with Amazon’s Prime Day deals (July 12 & 13), so why not be in the running?
