11″ MacBook Air (2015) from $180

Apple 11″ MacBook Air (2015 Model) from $179.99 to $229.99.  These are refurbished models, but Apple products last!  My MacBook Air is from mid-2011 and still going strong, although I did have to replace the charger last year (cheap!).  This model is running OS 10.10 Yosemite and can be upgraded to 10.15 Catalina.  Apple supports their products for years longer than the other guys.

Fetch Rewards 2k sign-up bonus

Ibotta is great, but often the rebate won’t include Jewel or Dollar Tree and that’s where Fetch Rewards comes into play, ’cause they don’t care where you shop (even online)! Scan the receipt and if there’s an item that’s part of a bonus rebate, you get it automatically in addition to the usual points – a minimum of 25 points for every scan.  Current promotion is you’ll earn 2,000 points ($2) just for signing up with promo code WVAB6.  I will earn points for your first purchase, but nothing thereafter.  Buy gift cards for Amazon, Panera, Target, Visa and more with as little as 3,000 points. Once you start earning points you’ll see FREE items and bonus deals pop up on your Discover page. I’ve been earning tons of bonus points just for shopping at Jewel … okay, it’s FirstBorn buying all the crap 🙂

A nice feature is being able to use both Ibotta and Fetch on the same receipt.

my 3 buck tiramisu!

Stopped during a class break, so not the end of the day shopping like I usually do at Amazon!  They had never gotten in the $3.99 Del Real chicken taco kit and there was only one tiramisu on the bakery shelf.  Manager said she was going to make more tiramisu (I’m not sure what she meant) and was hoping the taco kit would be in tomorrow’s delivery truck (wasn’t in the one this morning).

Tiramisu rang up at regular, not sale price – – cashier was well-aware of the issue and told me she would manually enter in the sale price, less the extra 10% Prime discount.  My entire total was just over $3.  I’ll stop in a day or two for a couple of chicken taco kits, since Amazon doesn’t issue rain checks 🙁
