Stopped during a class break, so not the end of the day shopping like I usually do at Amazon! They had never gotten in the $3.99 Del Real chicken taco kit and there was only one tiramisu on the bakery shelf. Manager said she was going to make more tiramisu (I’m not sure what she meant) and was hoping the taco kit would be in tomorrow’s delivery truck (wasn’t in the one this morning).
Tiramisu rang up at regular, not sale price – – cashier was well-aware of the issue and told me she would manually enter in the sale price, less the extra 10% Prime discount. My entire total was just over $3. I’ll stop in a day or two for a couple of chicken taco kits, since Amazon doesn’t issue rain checks 🙁
i went in there looking to buy 2 of each. there were several chicken taco kits (regularly $8.49) but only 1 tiramisu (regularly $11.99)! an employee i asked about the latter said that there were none in the back, and that customers were understandably jumping all over the deal from early in the day. there should be deliveries throughout the week, and they can vary on time of day…. though i got the impression that morning is a little more common.
my visit probably started at 1:50s p.m., as my checkout was at 2:12pm.
i’ll probably try again next when i’m out for Tony’s Freebie Friday (or Saturday).
as for the tacos, i was guessing there’d be 8 to 12oz of meat. i haven’t opened mine yet, but comparing cholesterol to the 15oz meat-only product, i’m estimating 6.67oz of chicken here. not shabby.

and the physical stores themselves also have NO PHONE NUMBERS, so you can’t find out whether a coveted item is in stock before visiting there. a lovely combination! >:O fly in blind; leave entirely emptyhanded!
to update: neither item was on the shelf at the local store as of about 2:20 – 2:30pm on Friday 2/10/23. i didn’t ask whether they had any in back. very glad i went on Wednesday.
dunkin’ donuts french vanilla latte 13.7 fl oz bottles are on sale there, btw. for like $1.24 or $1.14.
Was able to connect with another store when a customer service rep CALLED HIS FRIEND who worked at the other location to ask. They were all unaware that the card they hand out with number only handles online grocery orders. Use social media for instant results 🙂
