Once again over on coupons.com…there’s a buck coupon for Simply Orange and Simply Lemonade (two separate coupons – yeah!). It’s currently on a 10/$10 at Jewel and also the same price at Walgreens and Dominicks. Think it’s .99 at Meijer and Walmart, but not sure. Print ’em both twice and enjoy the low tax freebies.
With wags don’t forget the in-ad coupon and only thru tomorrow. Meijer $.99. Walmart rumored $.99 but prices vary in our area.
Yeah, that’s right about the Wags. Since the two local Wags are participating in that 15% off purchases when you flash your library card this month, I’ll hit them up and use the overage to bring down the cost of some Carmex (along with that .30 coupon).
Hmmm…I have 3 different library cards…Roosevelt University, Crystal Lake, and McHenry County College Library. Does that mean I get 45% off? LOL!! J/K!
Got my 12 free simply at Dominick’s today. I feel so traitorous!
Isn’t there a print limit? Meaning if you print like 15 of them via different computers etc., isn’t that coupon fraud? I’m seriously asking, not trying to be righteous or a smartass. Basically, when I see a coupon like this, I use it on the big one, not the little one, because I’d rather spend $2 on a half gallon than get something for free that I will drink in 1 minute, and again, how do you get so many of these coupons if there is a print limit?
Justin, you make my head hurt…Print limit refers to both the limit each computer is allowed to print (not printer) AND the number the manufacturer has decided will be allowed to print in total. Using a coupon on a large size instead of a bunch of small sizes which would be free is just plain dumb. All you have to do is buy five of the small bottles (13.5 oz) and you’d get more than a half-gallon, but without breaking a dime.
Right, but with all these deals, I end up with 1, 2, maybe 3 coupons, so it’s like yay my free trial size of this or small that, but it’s still only a few servings. If I had 10+, of course that’s what I’d do. I just am simply asking, if it’s not against the rules, then how come it only lets you print 2 from coupons.com? I always found that annoying, especially when I go to print it again for a different deal weeks later.
And I only have 2 computers, and am not about to go to the library and start using all the computers etc. Gotta draw the line somewhere. Free things worth $1 aren’t worth that much to me. I’m sure I could clear my cookies or something perhaps, but still, this seems like a workaround for something that isn’t supposed to be worked around.
The coupon software doesn’t work by cookies, otherwise the first person to print would hit the maximum print limit for the campaign! You’re not thinking creatively – if you only have two computers (smart phone works as a separate computer), don’t you have friends who would print for you? Family? Know someone dumping an old computer that you can use just for coupons? And you can’t print at the Lisle library unless you use the ones in the offices; the public ones prevent the coupon software from being installed – other libraries might work differently. But again, everyone has his or her own comfort level. If you are fine with using the coupon to buy a larger size (which is obviously what manufacturers want), then do it. You are still saving, unless you are now buying stuff that you wouldn’t be just ’cause you have a buck off coupon.
