Three cases of Zevia, one dozen cage-free eggs, two Earth Balance fake butter (for Rachel), four Spectrum mayonnaise…and way too much money OOP: $8.77 (~$3 in tax). they must think I’m as rich as their typical shopper…

Whole Foods

Been doing an awful lot of Whole Foods shopping lately! But apparently, having a couple of hundred bottles of flavored water in the basement isn’t enough, because PITA announced that she “had a taste for pop.” My first reaction was to give her a pop in the puss, but I held back…she would speed-dial DCFS before the blood even dried.
Through December 31st, Whole Foods has Zevia pop on sale 2/$5 (I think this is about 60% off). Use the Mambo Sprouts printables stacked with the $1 Whole Foods coupon. The Mambo Sprouts site has three separate coupons for Zevia: $2/1; $2/2 and $1.50/2. I used the $2 and $2/2 ones. Remember, you can print two of each coupon per computer. There are also other sites with printables, but honestly, they’re Java-enabled and I haven’t been able to print even one on any computer, nor has anyone else I know been lucky! In my case, I got enough to earn 10% case discounts as well, which offset the 99¢ per jar I paid for the Spectrum organic mayonnaise and the lower value Zevia printables.
Note: The shelf tags were the correct 2/$5, but the stacks by the front endcaps were marked 2/$6, although the register rang correctly.
Total OOP was $4.37, of which $4.14 was tax (pop is high tax).

Picture doesn’t show 12 quarts of Saffron Road broth in various flavors because I dropped them off on the way home. You see here a nice hunk of Dubliner cheddar, an organic pink grapefruit, extra virgin 100% Italian olive oil, three Mighty Oats oatmeal blends (crazy-high $5.99 each!) and a 16 oz jar of coconut oil. After all coupons, my OOP came to $12.42. damn my cheese addiction…
Whole Foods – – and lovin’ it!
Edit: I forgot to include the link to the prior post with the coupon links. Sorry!
I wanted to pick up more of the Saffron Road broth, so headed on over to Whole Foods where I found – to my great surprise and delight – that the boxes were no longer $3.99, but on sale for 2/$4! Zowie! Was originally going for a case of 12, so I only had 15 mfr coupons with me, but 24 of the store coupons. You see here 24 boxes of broth, an 8 oz bar of Kerrygold butter, 5 lbs of 365 flour (I’m now into baking bread – next post coming up) and four of the Suja juice blends. There was a person offering samples of these, so PITA and I were able to try them all! Very tasty and hard to just pick four…but those were the coupons I had. The demonstrator had a stack of $1 coupons. Total OOP was $10.33, but would have been much less had I had more of the Saffron Road coupons. I’m still happy!

Coupon has been pulled. Print a $1.50 coupon off any bottle of Suja Elements smoothies. The basic line is $4.99 for a 12 oz bottle. These were in end coolers near the front of the store..
$1.50 Suja smoothies coupon – use at Whole Foods
Print a $1.50 coupon off any bottle of Suja Elements smoothies. They’ve bumped up the print limit on this coupon so you should have no trouble printing. Saw them in the end cap coolers near the registers (not in the produce section) at Whole Foods in Wheaton. The basic line is $4.99 a 12 oz bottle.
chicken broth shopping @ Whole Foods
A very, very pleasant shopping experience, I must say – everyone was so friendly and “can I help you?” I wish I needed more stuff! Instead I walked out with 24 quarts of the Saffron Road broth, both vegetable, roasted chicken and the majority low-sodium natural chicken they also carry a lamb broth Given my nature you’re all surprised I don’t get the unnatural chicken…
Total was $18.73, which included the $2.99 baguette. So now we’re set for at least a little bit! One quart of broth fills up the liquid measure for the rice cooker (which was the first thing I put up when we walked in).
Cheap-ish chicken broth @ Whole Foods
Completely forgot about this great deal I saw on Saffron Road all natural chicken broth the other night! I don’t mind paying because it’s high quality and you get what you pay for (well, maybe I pay a little bit less than other shoppers). Whole Foods has Saffron Road Chicken Broth for $3.99 a 32 oz box – dates out are decent for stock-up purposes. Use the $1 WF coupon from the Whole Deal online magazine here (you have to download the magazine unless you have a quadzillion print copies) stacked with this $2 mfr printable to get down to 99¢ – – still not low enough! So buy in multiples of 12 and you’ll get a 10% case discount, bringing the cost per unit down to .591. Go team! BTW, I bought the Avalon products in case lots, which made a huge difference in the ultimate price I paid. If it’s something that will keep, then stock up.
Saffron Roads buys from small sustainably run family farms. All livestock are humanely raised with 100% vegetarian feed and are never given antibiotics. Their halal tradition demands animals receive proper care and welfare.
Only coupons for junk food & other urban legends
Some of my best kick-butt shopping has been at Whole Foods – remember all the Avalon Organics lotions, shampoos and conditioners we scored for dirt cheap? The trick to doing well at Whole Foods is to pair manufacturer coupons with the WF store coupons and then use them during a sale! I paid $3.30 for two Imagine organic gravy boxes ($1 & $1), two Spectrum Walnut oils ($3 & $3) and the baguette. Cashier was impressed – I, on the other hand, didn’t wanna pay for the bread. Remember, you can always print two mfr coupons per computer (unless it’s FB, and then you can only print two total).
Stopped at CVS because I hadn’t been in for some time and have a whole slew of ecbs expiring this week. Picked up the Cafe Bustelo and the free roll of paper towels, courtesy of the Magic Coupon Machine. I needed four of the Cafe to get $4 in ecbs, but they only had the two – I’ll stop at another location for more over the next couple of days. Picked up a few of these in early spring for Iced Coffee Season. Cafe Bustelo made with sewer water is too nasty even for Dumpster Divas.
$1.50 coupon off Suja Elements smoothies – use at Whole Foods
Print a $1.50 coupon off any bottle of Suja Elements smoothies. Looks good to me – – and I’m not even hungry! Note that there is a very small nationwide print limit, so you may not be able to grab this one, folks. I’ll check every day for increased prints.
only coupons for junk food – – and other urban myths

Wheaton Whole Foods has stacks of the photocopied $4 Avalon coupons on their endcap display. These coupon do not have any weird limit wording, but I didn’t experience any problems even using the coupon from their website (with the weird wording). Buy 12 and get a 10% case discount which brings down your cost to .49 a bottle for shampoos and conditioners and $1.39 for the body lotions.
Through today, the Barber’s 1833 aged vintage cheddar is only $6.99 a pound. An extremely good price (about half off), which is why your cheap-ass bought three of the biggest chunks she could find. Kefir was free after a coupon.
Picked up a feta and spinach pizza ’cause we were hungry and grilling much later: $14 – delicious! I’m really starting to like Whole Foods for their deals! snigger….
