Wags – Schick Hydro and new IP for same

Picked up three of the Hydro 5 razors at Walgreens today using the $5 IP (no longer available) – got back $4.50 RR for each.

Good news, though, if you really like this razor and didn’t get enough inserts:  coupons.com just released a few new coupons.  You can get a $2 coupon for refills for Schick Hydro 3, Hydro 5 and Quattro (three separate coupons).  The refills are also part of this week’s $4.50 RR deal:  Pay $8.49 (ouch), less $2 coupon and get a $4.50 RR, so let’s say you are paying $1.99 in the end….and i’m not gonna comment on that last part of the sentence, thankyouverymuch.

I have had people tell me they love this razor, so if it floats your boat, grab it now.  Wheaton still has a supply of the razors in stock – didn’t check on the refills.

Breathe Right trial packs anywhere?

Has anybody seen or even looked for the trial/travel size of the Breathe Rights?  Walgreens had them last year, but I don’t know if they still have them in stores (they’re available online for .99 each).  At Wags stores they were placed all over the place.  I’d prefer to get them at Walmart, obviously, since we’re talking significant overage from the $1.50 coupon in the 10/16 rp, but if I have to get the overage through the back door at Wags, so be it (in other words, get a whole bunchashit in the same order).

Any information would be greatly appreciated by us all …

Tuesday freebies

Free samples of premium tea from Republic of Tea.  Note that you have to sign up for their email list.

Free sample of new fragrance from Hugo Boss:  Different.  wonder if they make one for women…  thanks mojo savings

Free sample of Armani Sport.  Lke ’em on FB; the link automatically puts the cursor on the Dive Into The Night tab on the left side bar.  thanks hip2save

Print out these coupons for possible free MiraLAX.  Some Wags (maybe Target and Walmarts, too) sell one dose packets for around $1.50 each and since these coupons have no size restrictions$2/1 MiraLAX coupon will get you the either two free, three for very little OOP or (my favorite) some overage towards you other stuff.  Note that this coupon appears at the very bottom, underneath a full page ad. grrr  thanks to WildforWags

Wags Ultra Thin Pads .50 MM

Email from Jackie, our friend from the Lisle Walgreens who took a promotion at a new store on the condition she was able to turn it into a couponers haven.  She rocks.
I was hoping you could let your readers know that my Bolingbrook Walgreens at Boughton and Whitewater (695 W Boughton) has an additional .50 cent coupon available for the FARR Walgreens Ultra Thin Pads 18ct for customers that check out at the cosmetics register.  This would make the product a .50 cent moneymaker.  They would pay $1.50 and get back a $2 Register Reward.  I know this is not much, but if anyone is interested, we have about 60 on hand right now, and I ordered 48 more to come in on Wednesday, I can order more if needed if I know by 11am tomorrow (Mon).  Anyone that has a Prescription Savings Club card would also get a 10% bonus since this is a Walgreens product.
The phone number there is 630-771-1494 so call if you want/need these.

New Arrid coupon for Wags

The $1 Arrid coupon has reset, apparently, so print and take to Wags for free deodorant.  Stack this mfr coupon with the in-ad coupon for .99 from this week’s ad.  If you have other items in the order, the penny overage will be absorbed.  If you’re only getting deodorant, the cashier will adjust down the coupon to .99 as per Walgreen’s corporate policy.  saw this on mojosavings.

Wheaton Walgreens

Picked up a bunch of CoverGirl products for the $10 rebate (posted previously), using the $8/2 and a couple of expired RRs.  I checked the clearance end caps and they were filled with L’Oreal hair color, different varieties, as you can see from the pictures.  HCW shows a $2 mfr coupon for any L’Oreal hair color product marked “for redemption at Walgreens” in the 8/21 S.

They’ve also started marking down the John Frieda foam hair color, so check out your local Wags.  There are $2 coupons in the 9/25 S and the 10/9 S.

now that’s positivenergy – Energizer $10 rebate

Energizer has a $10 rebate when you collect and enter (online) three codes from participating products.  You have a choice of a prepaid MasterCard, paypal or a donation to the National Park Foundation.  Click here for participating products.

Make sure you check the batteries at Wags: They have Energizer on sale this week.  unfortunately, the sale two-packs of the Advanced Lithium aren’t a part; only the 4-pk.  the dirty rat bastards…

Wags – look ma, no coupons!

Sometimes it’s easier just to buy the stuff.  I had a bunch of expired RRs (only a couple of days – I’m not bat-shit crazy yet) so decided to pick up more of the lithium sale batteries and the Wags brand cough syrup varieties that are BOGO, both for *cough* cough* I’m siiiiiick husband (puhleeze, it ain’t The Black Death, ya know?).  The Poppycock?  You didn’t see that (but for 1.99, i’ll splurge).   Yes, I could have used a few coupons here, but it’s not worth tearing my hair out over.  I’ll stop by tomorrow for more batteries and use the $1 coupon from 10/2 S (which will bring down the 2-pks to 1.99 each).

If you are picking up any of the Wags brand products that are BOGO, please watch the register carefully.  Except for the Poppycock and batteries, every fricken’ product was screwed up (I understand they’ve been having lots of problems with the BOGO sale).

Wags and Up2U gum

For the three people in the Chicagoland area who did not buy 300 packs of this gum a couple of weeks ago, Walgreens is giving you a chance to play catch up.  No in-ad coupon this time, just a higher value mfr coupon in the 10/9 S ($1).  Up2U is priced $1.49 per pack (!!), so buy two for $2.98, use two of the $1 mfr coupons stacked with the $1/2 coupon in the October IVC and you’re back at free gum (with .02 overage for each pair).  I’ve read that the scanning issue has been fixed, but even if it doesn’t scan at your Walgreens, you are only using two coupons, not the in-ad one (the more coupons, the more flustered some cashiers get), so I can’t really see any issues – well, except for them being out of stock, of course.  But then you get a rain check!
