Jewel is definitely messing with the digital Monopoly coupons because first they ALL reappeared and then started disappearing while we were in the store – – one by one. And even legit ones weren’t coming off at the register.
On the other hand, the clearance cart was out and I picked up a few of these bamboo reusable towels which can be washed in the machine and reused up to 100 times! Paid 68¢ a roll and was told I purchased a lifetime supply…given my age I don’t know if that’s a good or bad comment 🙂
Jewel has automatically extended the dates to redeem the Monopoly freebies until 6/8, but we all know how stuff gets cleared out, so Pita and I hit the aisles earlier today and picked up a few things (still missing a couple of items). Spent $6+, but that was because I bought a few items over the $25 gift card (like 3 lbs of bacon!). still hate paying, though…
The Jewel warehouse must be stacked to the rafters ’cause more sanitizing wipes just appeared on the clearance cart and I know my store isn’t ordering them. Trying to dump the odd-brand products for a quarter, and I’m all over it. These were going fast, so check your store and stock up. Dates of 8/22, but seriously, it’s alcohol so how can it go bad? Dries out, a bit of water works a treat.
And that Home Paternity kit just cracked me up – – order same-day service and family meals will never be the same 🙂

For some weird reason, the UPC isn’t working at self-scan; apparently we weren’t the only customers with issues. Scanned at the main registers and right through – go figure!
Today (5/7) only, get a free box of Kodiak Cakes Granola bars in one of four flavors: Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Maple Brown Sugar or Oat & Honey when you say “Kodiak” at the Jewel register. No codes, coupons or loyalty account required – cashier will scan the free UPC paper.
Today we get one Saturday Sampler, a 10 oz package of Signature Select uncured turkey bacon. Add to your JFU account by Sunday and redeem by Monday. We loathe the stuff, so I’l put it in the chest freezer since we’ll be bound to use it at some future occasion.
