Jewel has automatically extended the dates to redeem the Monopoly freebies until 6/8, but we all know how stuff gets cleared out, so Pita and I hit the aisles earlier today and picked up a few things (still missing a couple of items). Spent $6+, but that was because I bought a few items over the $25 gift card (like 3 lbs of bacon!). still hate paying, though…

Off topic but did you get any of that weekly sale pork tenderloin? Wasn’t planning on getting it since the picture shows a pork loin but it’s actually the long skinny one that is nothing like the fat capped chunk of whole pork loin that is usually this cheap. We got the limit (4 each!) and actually grilled one for lunch. Delish! I highly recommend it.
I also picked up some freebies like hand soap a few weeks ago – don’t know why!

There were still some Monopoly wins that I had not picked up. Today, I checked my J4U app and the Monopoly items that I won and redeemed have now reappeared. Even the J4U cash wins.
Ugh! What a mess!
Holy crap on toast! I just checked and every single one is back, even ones I redeemed in the beginning. Really tempted to head out and try them, but given how iffy these damned things are to start with, don’t know what would happen. I’ve had coupons not come off (along with everything that did) and suddenly it would be back up, waiting to be moved to My List!
My brother-in-law just went thru self checkout and tried getting some of the Monopoly wins that “reappeared” (not sure which ones he tried). He said none came off, but the SCO attendent just scanned a paper and they all came off. I’m not sure if I want that headache.
They are currently working on the system, which means what you have on your screen is all they’ll remove and stuff disappears while shopping – scary. Try explaining your full cart was free when you first got in line!
Looked today and Jewel fixed it.
