Through mid-April, get tickets through Goldstar for this dark version of Alice; 8 performance dates are comp with 20 dates available in all. Get ready for a decidedly different kind of journey down the rabbit hole in this Cuckoo’s Theatre Project production of Alice’s Adventures in “Wonderland.” Don’t make the mistake of packing the kids into the family van and bringing them to this show with hopes of seeing singing flowers and a stressed-out white rabbit. No, this show has quite a different tale to tell — one of Alice Liddell, a Catholic school girl who, while on a field trip to a museum, wanders off and finds herself lost in a city that’s bubbling over with vice, sin and scary realities. Step into the intimate black-box theater of The Side Project and get lost in the twisted imagination of playwright James Michael Shoberg.
