First Wives Club: The Musical — Pre-Broadway Run

unnamedBased on the hit film and novel, the new musical First Wives Club shows what happens when three middle-aged women take their lives back by taking comedic revenge on their exes. A triumvirate of Broadway veterans, including Tony winner Faith Prince (Guys and Dolls), Carmen Cusack (Wicked) and Chicago’s own Christine Sherrill (Mamma Mia), lead the cast of this high-powered production, which features a book by Designing Women creator Linda Bloodworth-Thomason and a score by the legendary Motown team of Holland-Dozier-Holland (“Stop! In the Name of Love,” “Heat Wave”). Combining riotous laughs with a stirring depiction of female empowerment, First Wives Club makes its world premiere at Broadway in Chicago’s Oriental Theatre, where you can be among the first to see it before it heads to the big stag es of the Big Apple.  February and March performance dates start at $38 plus fees.
