free fish sticks at DT

This won’t help me ’cause all my older inserts got trashed, but if you still have the 2/24 S insert, there’s a $1 off any Fisher Boy product (expires 5/31).  I saw bags of Fisher Boy fish sticks at Dollar Tree yesterday, so great way to stock up. Sometimes it’s the only fish kids will eat…

check your local Dollar Trees for deals

Remember, not every Dollar Tree carries the same inventory, which is why I don’t usually post the deals – very frustrating to think you’re gonna drive for some freebies, only to find…nothing.

I did see the Armour packs of pepperoni in the refrigerated section of the Naperville DT yesterday.  Armour had a $1/2 coupon on their Facebook page earlier, so check that out.  The 5/12 rp has a $1 coupon for Luigi Italian ice, which I’m certain I saw at a local DT (not Naperville), so see if you can score some free ices, okay?  These stores vary from location to location in size – the biggest one I’ve seen so far is in Villa Park – – – huge!

free Soft Soap @ Dollar Tree

I had hoped that my local Dollar Tree would carry the single bars of Soft Soft because the 4/7 S contains a $1 coupon.  Yeah!  It did.  Note that the bar is actually pictured on the coupon, so no arguments over whether this coupon is exclusively for body wash (I’ve never encountered anything like this at a DT, but your’s might be a  ymmv place).

Dollar Tree has Olay bars in stock

Dollar Tree has restocked their Olay single bars, so get two bars for every $2/2 coupon in the March P&G insert – FREE SOAP! Don’t forget that DT’s new coupon policy limits you to four like coupons (like Target), but there are so many DTs around and you have until the end of the month that it’s not that big a problem. Hey, it beats them not taking any coupons at all, right?

Free Olay soap at Dollar Tree & cheap Chex Mix

Dollar Tree has bars of Olay soap which ties in nicely with the $1 coupon from the February P&G insert. NOTE: This coupon expires tomorrow, 2/28 so don’t put it off. I’ve been able to find these at all the Dollar Trees around here (actually a couple of varieties), so you should have no problems. And keep your eyes open for the MM Neutrogena at Walmart using the $5/2 2/24S coupon.

That same P&G insert has a 50¢ coupon off one Febreze Set and Refresh product, so 50¢, if it’s something you use all the time.  Again, these coupons expire tomorrow.

CVS and Dollar Tree both have Chex Mix for a buck.  This isn’t in the CVS ad (well, I can’t find it, anyway!), but it is well-marked on the shelves and end caps.  Use the .50/2 from the 1/27 S for 75¢ Chex Mix.

Dollar Tree – shopping for the tax

PITA likes makeup – – and her mom likes not spending money. Who says never the twain shall meet? At the Dollar Tree we picked up the Maybelline New York line of products, using the $1 coupon in the 2/3 rp. The white pencils you see? I paid almost $7 for one (different brand) a few months ago. grrr.

Y Pi?

If you have a hankerin’ for pie and you like it free, head on over to Dollar Tree, where they sell slices of Edwards key lime and chocolate creme pie (with Hershey’s) for a buck.  Use the $1 coupon from 12/02 s.  The coupon says Edwards or Mrs. Smith pie with no size restrictions and the singles are all marked “pie.”  end of post, commence the pie eatin’

Frees and cheaps at Dollar Tree

Stopped by a couple of Dollar Trees today and here’s what looked good:

They have these little 8 ct boxes of International Delight in French Vanilla.  Use the $1 mfr from 11/11 S for free creamer!  There is no size restriction on this coupon.  Both Dollar Trees also had jars of the Planters Nut-rition Banana Granola spread, which is almost free with this 75¢ IP.
$0.75 off one PLANTERS NUT-rition Peanut Butter

Dollar Tree

Thought I’d check out Dollar Tree, since they’re now accepting manufacturer coupons.  Very little to use them on, though, because the vast majority of products seems to be private labels, off-brands and other oddities – did you even know that Marie Callender made brownie mixes?  Grabbed the sales ad on the way out and here’s what I can see, coupon-wise:

Colgate 4 oz toothpaste is $1.  use the 75¢ coupon in 8/26 S.
Scotch packing tape is $1. use the 50¢ in 7/22 S.

And that’s it.  I recommend Dollar Tree for things like bleach and SoftSoap (35¢ in 8/12 S), but otherwise?  Stick with the grocery/drug store deals.  If you go with coupons, I’d advise printing out the new Dollar Tree coupon policy and taking it with you for the next few months...justincase…

Different areas stock different products – your location might have more brand-name products, in which case you’re way ahead of the game.

Dollar Tree will soon be accepting coupons

Beginning August 26th Dollar Tree stores will accept manufacturer coupons.  MUM spotted this statement on the DT Facebook page:

Dollar Tree: We have been testing several markets across the nation over the past year and we are happy to say we now have the ability to accept manufacturer coupons! This will begin on August 26th! There may be an exception to this date for a small selection of stores but all will eventually accept manufacturer coupons.

Hmmm, now I have to add a new category, ’cause I’ve not shopped there in the past!
