The Dark Side of Couponing
Which DT do you shop? I did this this morning at the DG location (75th & Main) and confused the crap out of them. They weren’t going to let me do it. What a pain.
The only DT with freezers around here is the DG store on Butterfield that used to be Deals; the Naperville store near Ogden 6 will be renovating within the next couple of months and will be installing freezers and coolers. Since the coupon says “pie” and the single slices say “pie” they would have liked to argue, but they couldn’t. I really don’t think DT stores understand coupons yet – they’re required to enter each and every coupon manually because they don’t have updated scanner software!
