My neighborhood Dollar Tree had these Efferdent boxes in stock – use the $1 any Efferdent product from 8/3 S and get some free stuff! It’s high tax, but on a buck? pashaw…We used to go through tons of these as retainer cleaners back in the day. Note that not all Dollar Trees carry these…and mine is now out.

Out & about shopping – must read post!
Now that I have your attention…There are some awesome deals out there and between Dollar Tree and Target I’m too pooped to pop – does that phrase even make sense?
Dollar Tree has PediaCare Daytime Multi-Symptom Cold in stock – use the $1 coupon from 9/7 S2 for FREE meds! They also have a nice assortment of Physicians Formula cosmetics. There’s no coupon but this line is consistently rated high and very pricey. A buck is almost a steal. Remember, Dollar Tree limits you to four like coupons per transaction (most are for that trip, too). And it’s not possible to push through a coupon – the register won’t take the 5th one! Sunday’s rp2 insert also had three $1 coupons for Maybelline lip, mascara and nail products, the exact same ones that Dollar Tree is carrying. Unfortunately, the coupons all beep, meaning no way, Jose. If a coupon beeps they are not allowed to accept it, no matter what the picture and/or wording shows or the manager wants to do; don’t push it.
Target.com has Mucinex 30 ct packs for $9.99 – price match that in the store and use the $7 coupons from 9/7 S2, stacked with the $2 Target coupon and the 25% off Cartwheel. My grand total for all four boxes was only 49¢…wonder what it would have been with my REDcard?

Dollar Tree – she shoots, she scores!
I’ve been looking for these Philly Swirl bars at local Dollar Trees for some time now after reading that people in other parts of the country were picking these up for free with the $1 coupon in the 5/18 S. No luck until Rachel shot me an email about finding them at a local store. So here they are, together with a free pouch of Honey Bunches of Oats ($1 coupon in the June AY – told you it has decent coupons!). I took the cotton candy flavor, but they also carry rainbow. PITA just ate two – – says they’re okay. wonder how many she’d eat if she liked them…
more Dollar Free shopping
I’ve been running around most of the day and will be out most of tomorrow at the flea market. Tried a few other “deals” I’d read about and frankly, they just didn’t pan out…which is the case in quite a few of the cases.
This is the end cap I found when I stopped in today at Dollar Tree for more Sunday papers – three varieties. The 5/11 S had a $1.50/1 coupon which you can use for FREE South Beach bars! The registers are now programmed to scan coupons (it automatically reduced the coupon to $1), but wouldn’t take more than five. Cashier pushed them through, but then a shift manager came over and said that they’re only supposed to take four coupons per transaction, but this was fine and not to worry. I thought the limit applied to P&G and printables, but who knows? I’m not too upset because the fact that corporate went through the trouble and expense of programming the computers means they’re serious about accepting coupons. which is a good thing…
Dollar Free shopping
Hey, the sign outside might say Dollar Tree, but let’s get real here! Free bottles of Firefly kids mouthwash – my store had Angry Birds, Spiderman and Strawberry Shortcake (pink) – other locations may have other varieties. Use the $1 coupon in 5/4 S. Last week I was driving around and stopped at a couple of Dollar Trees for other items – I always check out the freezer section for non-meat items for PITA – and saw Jimmy Dean pancake sausage bites. Well, there’s a $1 coupon in the same 5/4 S insert, so see if you store still has them in stock; my local one was out. You snooze, you lose…
Out & about shopping: DT, Target, Wags
I carry around the $1 PediaCare coupons (12/08 & 1/05 S) because I occasionally run into a shelf of FREE meds.
Walgreens has the Wrigley 5 gum on sale this week for 99¢ – stack the 50¢ coupon from the 4/6 rp with the $1/2 in the May IVC for FREE gum! In my case it was even easier because there was a blinkie right above them spitting out 50¢ coupons – no carpal tunnel from clipping!
Target has that sweet $5/$20 beauty purchase coupon in their ad this week, so might as well use it, right? Grab three Fructis products and get a FREE trial size product. They were having register issues earlier with this FREEBIE, but it seems to have been worked out. These products were $2.99 each and I used the $2 coupons from the 5/4 S for three, plus three of the got2b products @ $4.29 (ouch!) using the $2 coupon from the 5/4 S (each coupon is in a different SS). When you buy three of the göt2b, you earn a $5 Target gift card. I ran this two times, spending $5.76 each time and getting back a $5 gift card. Paid with prior gift cards, so basically I paid $1.52 for the 6 full-size and 2 trial-size products pictures. Not too shabby. I use the leave-in conditioner to condition my hair while I’m soaking in the tub…and it smells purdy…
Note: If you don’t have any Target ads (I was stupid enough to recycle mine already – dumpster time!), they always have them behind the desk as the service center. You can also print out two per computer on the Target coupon website under the beauty category.

I have driven to Targets so far out they’re still waiting on electric lines – places where English is a foreign language. I have now officially given up on the hunt for Similasan eye drops of any kind, along with the Garnier Olia hair colors. Oh, and the Nivea lotions. I found two bottles of the $1.97 priced Nivea and I had three Target 50¢ printables for first aid products, so I got three quarts of hydrogen peroxide and the two Nivea – OOP was 46¢. Siri keeps giving me directions designed to get me broadsided as a bonus…
I did manage to use up all my Planters peanut butter coupons at Dollar Tree before the 31st expiration date.
