Just so you know, these Schick Hydro Silk cartridges are crazy-high priced – the 4 pack is $18.29 at CVS! So an $8 coupon is a very nice value to have, but…
For almost $20 I’d expect a massage and pedicure thrown in!
Update: I have a mac, so was unable to print using Firefox or Chrome (IE isn’t an option) and Safari kept crashing and bringing up the same page over and over again. I finally went directly through Facebook to the Schick Hydro Silk page and was able to print using Safari. Coincidence? I’m not taking any chances. You can print two coupons, but you have to go back to the PRINT COUPON page – do not use your backspace key.
Print an $8 coupon off a Schick Hydro Silk refill when you like them on Facebook. These cartridges are super-pricey, so a huge deal. I have been unable to print this because the system keeps crashing and telling me to try again later. GOOD LUCK!!
This week is a sad one at CVS – don’t really see much of interest, so here’s the bestest of them all:
Purex is on sale for $1.99. No insert coupons, but if you go here and watch the very short video, you can print a $1 coupon two times. After it asks for your information, you are given the option of just printing the $1 coupon instead of waiting for the sample.
Hershey’s Simple Pleasures little bags are 67¢ with a 67¢ ecb, so free. Limit one per card.
I’m leaning towards the Nutrisse hair color ’cause it’s my favorite. Use the $2 coupon from 6/10 rp to get it down to $3.99. When you spend $15 on ALL Garnier products, you get $5 in ecbs, so buy three, and your cost is $6.97/3 or $2.32 a box. This is much more in line with what I’ll pay on a stock up hair color deal. Limit one per card.
Another $5 ecbs when you spend $15 includes 2L bottles of Coca-Cola at a buck each. After the ecbs, your cost will be .67¢, which ain’t free, but there are no coupons available and Diet Coke is, well, Diet Coke. True believers won’t be drinking Pepsi Next, no matter how much they pay you to carry it out. Rachel reminds me that the Coke limit is 5 – and some stores actually enforce it! who knew?
More ecb deals on CoverGirl and Revlon; CoverGirl has a $3/2 coupon in the 7/1 P&G and Revlon has a $3/2 in the 6/22 SS. With CoverGirl on sale for $7, you’re still a tad pricey, but if this is your fav, then it’s a no-brainer…
See anything good, please share.
Couple of pictures that caught my eye – you’ll appreciate them, too, I’m sure.
This reader read the Walmart post and ran out to stock up on bug stuff. He says he’s placed an order for 200 more boxes of fly paper. whoa…
Another reader just had to outdo me on the Shell cards at
CVS – – to the tune of $550! Way to go! Combine these puppies with the Jewel fuel rewards and you can be driving on fumes for the next year. Of course, the fact that gas jumped up 30¢ overnight is gonna impact us somewhat.
They caught this one late this afternoon. Remember, you snooze, you lose. The white plastic tins also work for this deal. I bought one tin, paid $1.07 and got back a $2 ecb along with a 25% off your next purchase…which happened to be three tins of Nivea. Handed over the $2 ecb and the 25% coupon and 40¢! Gotta love CVS!
CVS has an awesome deal going right now on Nivea products. buy, buy, buy, buy some Nivea stuff, yada, yada, yada. The real news is that this little 99¢ tin works to generate the $2 ecb! For each one you buy, you pay 99¢ plus high tax. Limit four per card, so if you burned all your ecbs on Tide and Pantene, buy one and use the $2 ecb to pay for the others. Goddess does not advise delay in running this deal.
This is your public service announcement: The CVS quarterly ecb earnings prints today. Use the new $1 Tide coupon in today’s P&G insert and roll those ecbs into $10 gas cards.
Since it’s not beauty-based, but on everything you’ve purchased over the past quarter, comment and let us see what you’ve gotten! I’ll stop by CVS later to scan and let you know!
As I posted earlier, if you have a ton of ecbs to burn, why not run Tide or Pantene for the $10 Shell gas cards – limit five cards per loyalty card (I posted the specifics earlier this week). This is a beautiful way to get the most out of the Jewel fuel rewards, since it works with Shell to begin with! I signed up this week and I’ve already got a 90¢ discount off each gallon of gas – I’m hoping to get up to 1971 prices so my road trip to BlogHer 2012 in NYC won’t cost me much!
I hope you’ve been diligently scanning your card(s) at CVS every day this week because that $2 coupon is really gonna come in handy. Hit up your local CVS on Saturday afternoon after they set the registers to Sunday’s sales. You’ll be able to run the Spend $30 get a $10 gas card deal using the Tide and Pantene coupons that expire the 30th.
Pantene shampoo and conditioner is 2/$6.50. Buy 10, use the $3/2 from that the 5/13 P&G insert and however many store cats you were able to print. If you picked up 7 coupons (the maximum possible), you would pay $32.50 less $15, less $14 or $3.50 to score a $10 gas card. Obviously, the more store cats the better, but even without any, this is a great way to turn large amounts or expiring ecbs into $10 gas card.
Liquid Tide (and Gain) is on sale for $5.97. Use the $1 coupon from that same 5/13 P&G insert. Buy five for $29.85, less $5 in coupons and get a $10 gas card. You’re effectively paying $2.97 a bottle. Not as cheap as last week’s deal, because we don’t have that $5 newspaper coupon, but as a way to turn ecbs into gas cards, brilliant! The best thing about this Tide deal is that the next set of Tide coupons out there is for $1/3 – seriously! I’d pound rocks in the river before I’d clip a coupon that puny. Update: There will be a $1/1 Tide coupon in Sunday’s inserts, so if you don’t have enough, pick up a couple of papers at the dollar stores on Saturday.
If you only have a fewTide and Pantene coupons, mix and match, because they’re all part of the same promotion.
