Kate Spade one-day handbag sale ends tonight

has a one-day sale on a couple of handbags – the $99 ones are already sold out, and this $149 bag – in a variety of colors – will jump back to $358 in a few hours.  Hurry.  Reviews are awesome.  love the watermelon color

Complete Glasses only $38 Shipped!

Single vision lens + frames start at only $38 with Free Shipping!  I have a couple of pairs from them (Pupil frame) that were $38 and I could not be more pleased with the quality and speed of delivery.  Super easy to order online, too, something I worried about in the past.

A Tale of Two Inserts

24ea6d2f-f7a8-4693-a01f-c445200a3d6bOccasionally I post about the different coupons in inserts, even when the covers are the same.  You know how the person pushing subscriptions in Walgreens and Jewel always claims their paper has coupons?  Yes, but not the the full package!

Here is a photo of the Chicago Tribune May P&G and the one from Hoy (obviously, since it’s all in Spanish!).  Every coupon and value is the same, except they left out the pages with Tide and Bounce,  You’ll find the same thing with redplum and SmartSource (like there isn’t a $3 BIC coupon in Hoy).  So if someone offers you free coupons, take ’em!, but don’t sign up for the subscription.

A hair-raising time at the ScienceTechnologyEngineeringMath expo at COD today!  I think this was the first time they held this and it was really well down with a large turnout.  Information of prairie restoration, tornado watchers, weather balloon launches, 3D printers, snakes and lots more.

Oh, and did I mention that they had Mr. Freeze handing out mini-marshmallows frozen in liquid nitrogen?  Cool watching kids chomp down and vapors come out their mouths (pun intended).

Home Run Inn Dock Sale Today

Untitled

Home Run Inn is having a Dick Sale next Friday, April 22nd, from 1-5 at their corporate headquarters in Bolingbrook (click here for map).  Last sale was almost six months ago.

Thrift pizzas are those that didn’t make the cosmetic grade. Retail bulk are perfect ones and you pay more (although cheaper than normal grocery store prices).

They even wheel out and load your purchases – nice people and very well organized. Get there early or you’ll only have cheese to choose from!
