If you have not yet mailed in your yellow tail rebate – DO NOT!!! The current rebate form gets you $20 when you buy 12, but there is a new rebate form in the 12/11 CVS ad which gets you $36 when you buy 12!! Yup, that’s right, $16 more bucks for the same amount purchased. You have until 12/31/11 to purchase, 1/15/12 to get it postmarked and 1/31/12 for them to receive it. As a matter of fact, you now have enough lead time to order coupons: While I don’t see them on Dede, eBay has a Buy It Now for 10 coupons for $2.99. You’d still be ahead…unless you grabbed those one or two packs at the Lisle Jewel customer service desk…
The rebate number is different on this one, so if you are planning on buying another case, go for it. The Jewel sale is over and now the yellow tail is going for $6.49 after Preferred Card. CVS, on the other hand, has it for 2/$11, a considerable difference. They also offer the 10% off on six bottles or more. So, let’s do the math here: $5.50 x 12 = $66. Take off 10% for the case price. There is a tearpad on the CVS shelf for $4 off instantly when you buy 1 yellow tail with a 12 pack of Miller. Well, hell’s bells, we need to buy the Miller for our $25 rebate, don’t we? So 11 of the yellow tail coupons plus the $4 brings the cost down to $44.40. Submit the receipt for $36 and you’ve just spent .70 per bottle! Please call Emily if you want to order case amounts: They carry Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. If you plan to do the Miller/yellow tail rebates, you will need to have the Miller rung up separately but inform Emily (or cashier) that you are buying yellow tail and using the $4 coupon from buying the Miller. They have no problem with this since they can’t print out duplicate receipts and you’re running two rebates.
The 12 packs of Miller are priced at $8.99 at CVS.
On another topic entirely, Emily says they are getting about 50 Norelco razors in per week, distributed on a first call – first get basis. Call the store on Thursday mornings at 7 am to have your razors put aside.
So we can buy the rebate from Dede?
???? Dede doesn’t carry rebate forms (that I’ve ever seen). Why wouldn’t you just wait until the 11th and pick up as many as you want from the CVS ad? I was talking about buying the $1 coupons for yellow tail wine that were in the 11/20 ss (same insert with the new $30 Norelco razor coupon).
Got 12 from ebay for $2.50, thanks for the heads up on our regular house wine…
P.S. Binny’s hates these coupons….they will make you do 12 transactions…
So no case prices? How much cheaper is it given the extreme aggravation they put you through? After the 10% case discount, the CVS price is $4.85, so is it that much cheaper?
They have had it as low as $3.99 and a while back (years) there was a $3 off 3, I bought 3 cases……..will prolly get it @ jewels just to get some variety….Where did you see the rebate, was looking on SD but did not see it?
It’s in the CVS ad coming out on the 11th. There are lots of liquor deals and a few rebate forms. Same company handling the yellow tail rebate as now, but different offer number. And in case you’re wondering, I am not going by a scan – I try to get the ads a few weeks in advance, so it’s in my hot little hands now.
Are there any other sources for the $1 coupons? Looks like e-bay is out….
Have you called or stopped by the Lisle Jewel? I might be able to drop off two more sets of 12 (if you don’t run it with the Miller rebate with the additional $4 coupon), so check their service desk.
Stopped at Jewel this evening and these have been picked up.
I gave a couple sets of 12 to CVS in Naperville, so check with them, too. These are gonna be some hot puppies!
Hey guys,
I’m new to the CVS rebate thing. Do you have to buy the wine in the same week as the rebate is offered? At my CVS this week, the Yellow Tail is only 2/$7, so I’m wondering if I should buy them this week and send in for the rebate next week….any clarification is much appreciated!
The rebate is not linked to a CVS purchase, it’s the same rebate amounts required (12 bottles) to get $36 instead of the $20 we’ve seen before. And the dates for purchase are now, not next week (for rebate purposes), so buy where you can get it cheaper and hold onto your receipt until next week’s CVS ad.
Do you know if the 10% off 6+ bottles is in certain regions only? Mine told me they wouldn’t give me that discount.

My cvs add did not have this rebate in it. Are the ones at the store different?
As far as I know, they are all the same. I don’t get the ad in the paper because I’m only a mile from the store, which makes no sense at all. I normally get the store copies a couple of weeks in advance. Please stop in you store and pick up a couple. The rebate forms are with all the liquor deals in the middle.
Mine didn’t either. :-/ I checked at my store, and couldn’t find them there, either.

Anybody want to mail me 2;o) pretty please
Same here! 🙂
Just got mine, thanks again!
Send me your addy and I’ll get out two from CVS ad.
Same advice – how many? Make sure you use the Contact Tab on the top, not this public forum.
Could I get one of the rebate forms, if you have extras? Just realized my hubby threw out last weeks ad, and I just purchased the bottles from Binnys!
Thanks!
Send me your vitals using the Contact tab on the top of the page – it’s private and goes directly to my email.
I haven’t been able to find any of the rebates on this…any left?
Shoot me an email with your addy using the Contact tab on the top. One or two?
Anyone get their Yellow tail rebate yet? I’m still waiting on mine and already received one weeks ago from Bacardi mailed out on the same day. I’m figuring since they owe me money they might not honor it.
Did you check the status using the link provided by a reader? I checked and it’s the same thing as the previous rebate – no valid dates. These are the CVS receipts, so obviously their contractor are extremely sloppy.
