Wiped out Wheaton of most of their overstock Revlon nail polish and then rolled that $3
RR into the Pert Plus using a box of .20 gelatin as a filler. The Pert/gelatin transactions ran .53 each – not too shabby.
Here’s a funny story (to me) which is probably giving Steve nightmares: I’m at cosmetics, checking out the Pert/gelatin, having already filled a box with the Revlon – lots in the cart. Older women walks over and sees the shampoo and nail polish and says, “Oh, that’s right, I need some nail polish.” Turns out that none of the colors on the shelf appealed to her, so she shopped from my cart! Two bottles of Pert at $1.50 each and eight bottles of nail polish at .50 each. She pays $7 and then another woman walks up and buys two bottles of Revlon! I told Steve I was gonna set up a Wags outlet in the parking lot. He asked that I please move it to the bank lot across the street…
Went across the street to the Danada Square Dominicks, where I grabbed the last six boxes of Gain powder and twelve bottles of Gain dish soap – each transaction came to (after coupons and $3 cat from prior order) $2.63.
whew, i’m bushed…
I just read this post to DH – he had a good laugh along with me, then – his comment—- “She has ball of steel” — My answer to him was — yep, and proud of them!
You should have asked him “How do you know?”
glad I left you those 12 Gain…you followed me over to Steve’s Wags then! sorry to have missed you.
