Yeah, I have an Excedrin headache — wouldn’t you?
$1.00 off 1 Excedrin 24 ct+. Print it. Bring it to CVS. Buy Excedrin for $4.49 minus this = $3.49 get $1.00 ECB = $2.49, then bring it on over…
CVS is a tease
I’d heard that cvs was emailing Get 25% Off Your Total Order coupons, so eagerly awaited mine…here’s the exclusions:
*Valid in-store only. This coupon excludes sale items, “buy more & save” promotions and discontinued merchadise. This offer cannot be combined with any other percent off coupon. ExtraCare card must be presented to receive the offers. Savings applied to total qualifying purchases after other CVS/pharmacy coupons & discounts are applied. Excludes alcohol, gift cards, lottery, money orders, prescriptions, postage stamps, pre-paid cards and tobacco products. Tax charges on pre-coupon price where required. Limit one coupon per customer. No cash back.
Then just what can this coupon be used on? Sounds like they got the Kmart people to run their promotions…
CVS, again
Note: None of the pet clearance items were marked as such. The hair colors were marked clearance, but had no price. Sometimes you have to use the Magic Coupon Machine as a scanner!
Since there were such deals at one CVS, figured I see about some others…you know me, just can’t resist a deal. Picked up six of the Snausages (1.14) and two Loreal hair colors. Used six $1/1 pet coupons and a $5.00/2 Loreal coupon. Since the clearance hair color was just over $5, I didn’t really have to pay anything and it went towards the “spend $20 get $5” promo going on. I’ll hit them later with more Loreal coupons.
And no more snarky comments about my hair color stockpile, OK? Even I recognize that it’s gonna be hell of a weird garage sale…
CVS today
Update: MUM has a link to a free bag of Iams cat food when you buy one, so why not pick up the Hairball formula for $2.49, use the $1/1 coupon from 2/27 P&G and get two for $1.49? Works for me!
Thought I’d see if the toothbrushes had come in – yet. no. So I picked up two more Crest toothpastes and four Crossaction replacement head packages (eight heads total) for PITA’s pink toothbrush. They were a 75% off clearance, so why not? Also noticed a ton of clearance pet supplies/toys/food, so picked up four packages of Snausages for $1.17 each. My total was high, but after handing over the 4 Snausage coupons ($1/1 2/6 rp), two Crest (.75/1 2/27P&G) and $15 in ecbs, I was left to fork over $2.26, which was mostly high tax. I got back $12.58 in ecbs. Apparently there is a ecb on the replacement heads, so back I’ll go. Spend $5 and you’ll get back $6. works for me…
Here are a couple of pix of the clearance pet section.

CVS OOP $2.06
Ran in to check some items at CVS. Wanted to burn some ecbs, but was unable to do so on this hair color deal – too low! Picked up nine L’Oreal hair colors, using a combination of the $5/2 and $2/1 from 2/20 rp. My OOP was $2.06 and got back $5 in ecbs. sweet!
I’ll stop by later this week and run the Crest toothpaste and rinse a few times.
I really like this new store. The manager is a sweetheart, the staff are always begging to help you find “stuff.” I’m going to have to make more of an effort to put together more deals. Stores that get couponers deserve to have lots of business…
CVS – redux
Decided to clear out the whole Garnier hair color section, so here it is: 6 HerbaShine (5 clearance), 2 Nutrisse and 4 Nivea lip balm. You know the coupons from previous post, including that $3/10 magic coupon. OOP was $6.40 (damned high tax). Got back $16 in ecbs ($1 extra for using the green tag).
CVS tripping
Had a few ecbs expiring today so hurried on over to the newest store (also the closest), only to learn that they accept expired ecbs up to one month back. good to know…. But then it was a good thing I did stop over because they have a ton of HerbaShine color on clearance for $2.07. Sooooo, here is what I did: 6 clearance HerbaShine, 3 sale ones; 4 Nivea lip balms. Register took off $3 for each HerbaShine (11/7 rp & 1/9 S1), used two BOGO Nivea (1/2 r2) and the $3/10 cosmetics from the magic coupon machine. Paid with a $10 ecb and a $1 (from using the green tag) and had to fork over $3.15 for the damned high tax. It worked out OK, I guess, ’cause I got back $10 for the HerbaShine and $5 for the Nivea. and lots more hair color. hmmm, maybe i should open up my own salon.
CVS shopping pass
spending way too much time on Facebook today, but here’s another potentially sweet deal: “Like” CVS on Facebook and register your card and email. If 250,000 people “like” them by Feburary 11, they’ll send out (using the email given) a 20% shoppers pass good on February 14, 2011. The more people “like” them, the higher the discount, potentially topping off at 25%.
Free? gum
Saw this on Hip2Save, waffled about printing/posting but here goes: click here to get to the CVS coupons site. Click on the .75 off Extra Dessert Delights gum, print, then go back and print another. CVS has this gum on sale for $3/2, so either get the coupon marked down for free gum, buy 3 and pay .50/3 packs or hold off until someone (Wags?) has a better deal. Coupon has a little cvs logo on it, but it’s a mfr coupon. Expires in a month.
