Check those clearance carts and shelves at Jewel because they are blowing out Shoppers Value!  Yeah, most of it isn’t worth a cup of warm spit, but I just cleaned up on rice and beans, among other things.  Way too much to photo, so here’s the list:

2 cans LaChoy bean sprouts @ 25¢ each
6 four-pound bags of Shoppers Value pinto beans @ $1 each
6 two-pound bags of Wild Harvest Jasmine rice @ $2 each
4 five-pound bags of Shoppers Value white rice @ $1.25 each
3 boxes of Jamaican chicken empanadas (frozen) @ $1.50 each
1 36 oz box of Stockman & Dakota pub burgers with blue cheese for $3.50
6 packets of 10.5 oz Fall River cooked wild rice @ $1.25 each
1 L’Oreal Excellence @ $2 – I’ll return with the $2 coupon and receipt
1 FF Dino Bites 24 oz for $1.50
1 chicken teriyaki for 25¢ (in with the fish)

So my OOP was $44, (said I saved $85, but it’s really more) but I’ll get back $2 for the L’Oreal.  Think I’ll head back and grab the remaining Shoppers Value rice – 5 pounds for $1.25 can’t be beat, especially when each batch in the cooker uses about 1½ pounds.
