7/13 Amazon Fresh ad

Since the 7/05 ad runs over the two Prime Days (11 & 12), the next Amazon Fresh ad will start on Thursday and end on Tuesday.  No coupon this week.

There’s a page of Prime-only deals, but honestly, nothing stands out as being very good value.  They’re offering 77 oz Clorox for $5.19, for pete’s sake – and here I was bitching about Dollar Tree’s 64 oz bottles.  And when did pop get so awesome that $7.50 for a 12pk was something to post in their ad?

Different Dollar Tree, different items?

I know if I go a far piece down the road Dollar Trees will stock different inventory, but the Naper/Ogden location was completely out of dishwasher detergent and I was getting critically low. On the other hand, they did have Essie nail polish (repackaged & hanging up – 3 colors) and some plant-based two-pack polish.  No aspirin on the shelf.

Headed over to the newer Lisle location on Maple, because even if they were pulling from the same warehouse, one store might not have sold out.  Well, that was my thinking, anyway!

Got aspirin, detergent, but zero Essie and the plant-based polishes were singletons, which makes me think they split them open to double the profit, but then I’m cynical like that.  They did have the items pictured, so if you need any kinesiology tape, try it out – I guarantee Walgreens and Amazon are more expensive.  Looking at both, I see that Centrum has repackaged the bottles with silver labels, which is why they’re so cheap. Centrum date was 1/24; 80 ct is $14.99 at Walgreens.

Jewel for even cheaper avocados

Clipped the produce deals from the new Jewel ad to my acct & plan to grab even cheaper avocados using $1 Flavor Adventure coupons. I like $5.99/lb mahi mahi as well, although I don’t know that I’ll be able to look at food for another day or so after yesterday. so much food!!!

Dollar Tree for reusable bags

I picked up a couple of reusable bags a couple of months ago from Dollar Tree – okay quality, and certainly not in the same league as Stasher.  Today Pita saw these on one of those hanging things, so I bought two and am very impressed!  They are thick and very tightly sealed.  Back says free from BPA, BPS, BPF, PVC and Phthalates.  These were the only sizes available.  Also picked up some very nice scented hand soap pump bottles that were nice and thick – hate the running stuff that shoots all over the sink.
