Irish Spring for less this week
This week at Walgreens they have a buy 2 Irish Spring or Soft Soap body wash and get $5 in Cash Rewards – you can pay with cash and still earn more. Since both brands are on sale for $3.99 with 50¢ digital coupons, you could buy two of each for pickup for $13.46, pay with Cash Rewards and earn $10 … or, you could buy two Irish Spring, use the $1 coupons from 10/10 SmartSource to pay $5.98 and earn $5.06. I ran a 4 ct for pickup and two Irish Spring when I went to pick up the order. I’ll probably buy a few more Irish Spring during the week for a change from the dwindling stock of free Dollar Tree Coast (last summer’s coupon surprise).

welcome to the new grocery reality
“Shortages at grocery stores are nowhere near as visible as they were at the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, when shoppers flocked to stores to stockpile food and household staples. But supply in grocery store aisles has not fully recovered to pre-pandemic levels, and companies such as Costco and Sam’s Club have recently reinstated purchase limits for customers on paper products and cleaning supplies.
Around 18% of beverages, 15% of frozen foods, 16% of snacks, 15% of candy and 18% of bakery items were out of stock at stores during the week ending on October 3, according to the latest data from IRI, which tracks in-stock levels at leading US grocery chains, big box stores, pharmacies and wholesale clubs.” Read the entire CNN Business article here and remember I warned you things were getting worse again.
