Jewel shopping – wait, what???!!

Got another of those $15 off $35 Amazon Fresh coupons (think I’m up to 5), so I’ll be stocking up on half and half, toilet paper, potatoes, onions, tissue and things like that, since they won’t go bad or to waste around here.  But thought I’d check out the Jewel produce since Brussel sprouts are $2.99/lb at Fresh and the Gorton’s fish might be a couple of bucks cheaper, but Jewel has them as a BOGO, so much better.

Took six of the broth boxes – $1.99 came off all to make them 50¢ each, so I might stop back in later in the week or I might not 🙂 Oatmeal is the small 18 oz containers and I’m used to getting deals on the 42 oz size.  Artichokes were huge and well worth the 99¢ price for each.

For half a buck, Jewel gives a … deal?

Well, the Jewel preview ad is up and they’re offering Yoplait yogurt (limit 4) for 19¢ each as the Sizzlin’ Hot Offer.  Frankly, you’d be better off just spooning sugar into your mouth.  The only sale that looks decent is the oatmeal and rice since they’re things you can use year-round.  Other than that, meh, although I’d grab a couple of sparkling waters if they include the unsweetened variety.  And who wants to pay for taco seasoning when we’ve been trained for years to expect it for free 🙂

$40 off $40+ at Target returns

The $40 off $40+ Target RedCard promotion has returned and runs through 3/12. Apply online and you’ll get an account number (write it down) so you can shop while waiting for the plastic card and $40 coupon.  Coupon promotion is only available online.  Choose either debit or credit card.  This promotion is valid only for new accounts, but if you haven’t used your card in some time, it might have been closed automatically and you’ll qualify.

Jewel shopping? why?

I’ll hit up Jewel for 7¢ tuna and Pita had a reward expiring today, but those are the only Jewel items in this picture. What a change, right?  The Hunts fire roasted tomatoes were $1 at Dollar Tree (as were Ro-Tel and Ramen 6-pks since they were on the $1 Extra Value shelves) – it was $1.49 at Jewel.  And you can’t beat their Brownberry Ovens bakery prices!
