hey, it’s a small appliance garage sale

Wasn’t really sure what this was, but figured it was some sort of humidifier and for a new product in the box, $15 was a sweet price.  Even sweeter when got home and scanned the UPC on Amazon to see the cheaper seller had it for $116.99!  Lots more small appliances at this garage sale on Dorset (roughly Lacey and Rte 53 in Lisle: electric kettles, Panasonic microwave, steamers and more with boxes and looking pretty new.

Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy $20

Amazon Fresh old ad runs through 13th

The Prime Day coupons. Print ad in my Trib had both.  Here’s the Amazon Fresh ad so if you din’t get the ad you can still use the coupon.  Though it reads one time per promotion, that isn’t the case AND the coupon triggers at $34.  If you worry about the cashier claiming your coupon, use the online code.

I was hoping for overlap on the ads, since last week runs through today but the new ad starts the 14th with a $10/$50 coupon.  Haven’t found the online version to see if there’s a coupon yet.  More toilet paper and tissue stockups if buck items are still OOS.

Amazon Fresh not shopping

Given posts about long lines, we waited until this afternoon to hit up Amazon Fresh.  Very crowded parking lot (both electric chargers taken – one by a Tesla whose plate I’ve seen on multiple locations…hmm).  Long lines at checkout, but that didn’t matter because they only had strawberries in stock and I’m not that nuts.

Empty sandwich shelves; all soup buckets had been pulled, although they did have pizza on display.  No baguettes.

I find it hard to believe Amazon was gobsmacked Prime Day would be such an event – – this ain’t their first rodeo.  Might drive by tomorrow mid-morning just to check the parking lot.
