Had a whole list of places to go and people to see…and pretty much did it all.  First stop was to Whole Foods for more of those Terra Chips and the free Celestial Seasonings.  The Indiana Popcorn Apple stuff is for Rachel.  Stacked mfr with store coupons, which made the teas free and the other items 50¢ each.  OOP ended up at $7.22.  Note that WF has pretty much never seen couponers – each and ever store coupon must be entered and overridden by a manager.  And the bagger remembered me from last week.  So they must post store coupons in the hope that no one will actually use them.  silly people…

Hit up the Danada Square Fannie May to use up our last two coupons – all out of coffee so we got our go-to chocolates:  Pixies.  Stopped in at Wags to see if Steve remembered us.  And there is nothing going on there for the next couple of weeks (although that kind of proclamation will change in a heartbeat).

Then off to the Sleep Number store (we were on Butterfield anyway) for our FREE travel pillow which came in a very nice storage bag.  Told PITA it was her Christmas present.

Our last stop was Jewel because I had a few RRs expiring and I needed to get a Starbucks gift card (NOW they tell me – why not a few weeks ago, right?).  You see here high-priced eggs, high-priced OJ, FREE bakery bread (courtesy of PITA), FREE Idahoan potatoes (coupon), FREE organic bananas (cat PITA found) two Ortega products ($1.79 each and had $1 coupons from tearpad) and a square of Boxing Cheddar cheese from Australia for which I obviously paid the airfare.  Ended up spending $1.71 after RRs and before gift card.  I’ve placed a large special order for the middle of next week to use up the Dole fruit coupons.  Now that’s going to be some serious overage on that order – PITA better find some $/$$ cats…
