I posted a few weeks ago about buying up all the Lightlife black bean burgers for a buck a pack at Dollar Tree – well, now Jewel has the entire line clearanced out at $1.98 (yeah, yeah, I know – twice as much!).  Picked up six packs of these grill ‘n burgers last night to try – PITA and friend ate two packs!  I don’t recommend grilling any of their products because they dry out and your dogs will be enjoying them, not you.  We lightly fried these in oil and served on toasted English muffins with a dollop of EE horseradish brown mustard (all 187 bottles made it through the flood) and a slice of the Kraft cheese from Dominicks.  Very, very, very tasty and we’re going back to grab the rest.

Please keep an eye out for these and the black bean burgers in your Jewel’s freezer section and/or Dollar Tree.  don’t bother checking stores by me…
