I’ve gotten emails from quite of few of you who are heading out to Lisle and Wheaton this weekend – some coming quite a far piece – just ’cause our stores rock!

Sue (mrsmm80) made the trip to Jewel today.  She forgot to take a picture and she’s too bushed to gather up everything, but here’s her story:

MG, that was one awesome trip.  In fact, it was SO awesome, I’m thinking of going WT hunting again 🙂

I’m so glad I called the meat dept. 1st thing this morning and asked them if they would package up some meat for me, and they did!

This is what I got – I did 5 seperate transactions just to be sure I could use my $20 cats and not have everything lock up:

12 S&D fillets (indiv. wrap)
6 S&D ribeyes (3 pks of 2 ea)
32 mini pub-burgers (16 pks of 2 in each)
4 single serve tilapia
6 cases of Diet Pepsi
5 bags Doritos
15 boxes of Nature Valley granola bars
2 bottles A1 — they use this stuff on everything!
11 ears sweet corn
2 pkg Buddig beef
3# Russet potatoes
4 containers strawberries – thanks for the head up on that
2 containers raspberries
1 bag Starbucks
2 lbs bananas
1 bag lettuce mix
2 pkg Dolfino havarti cheese
3# golden delicious apples
1 pkg Northern TP
1 20 oz bottle diet pepsi (cuz I was thirsty and I needed about $.35 more cents on my last transaction!)

Total OOP $6.45 after Q’s and Cats!!!!!!!
I gots stuff worth $283.40 @ preferred/sale pricing.

WOW and double WOW~ when are you going on EC?  Oh, wait, you didn’t pick up any of those disgusting noodles…too bad.
