My family put away all the groceries before I could say anything, but it was pretty much candy, gum and four half gallons of Horizon 2% milk. They also have walls of Philadelphia cream cheese: bricks, whipped, lite and regular – all plain (unflavored). If you missed out on the Target candy clearance, you’re bound to find what you want over here! I bought a few cases of Root Beer Float Extra gum (like you don’t have any vices). Lots of Lean Cuisine Honestly Good chicken entrees, Mrs. Smith pumpkin pie, Safeway pumpkin pie and Safeway ice cream and lots of different containers of whipped toppings (including a 5 lb box of vanilla-flavored topping). Found one of the non-dairy chips for Rachel – very bad cell reception, so this is a secret...shhhhh

Stopped in at Walgreens and picked up the Topricin and Bach rescue pastilles plus a 2L of Dr. Pepper for First Born. Used two $8 RR and the $1 mfr coupon plus 35¢ – – got back a $10 RR and a $6 RR. Should be a good week… fyi, the $1 coupons I printed out four to a page wouldn’t scan…good thing I brought along Big Bertha (takes up an entire page).

The Dominick’s on Eola and Aurora Ave had a huge wall of cream cheese also. Cracker barrel cheese was in there too. The refused to mark any of the milk or eggs down as of last Friday when I stopped in last. The deli was awesome to hit up. Was there anything left in there the last time you went?
If you’re talking about the Eola store, I’ve never shopped there but maybe I should. The Westchester store also had boxes and boxes of various health bars like Luna but naturally I chose to focus on candy!
the cream cheese seems to be ubiquitous. Shorewood had a whole wall as well.

Yeah, the 26th, which sucks, but since we’ve got the redneck cooler out back and the house elves go through about 3 gallons a week, not a problem. Might try the Eola location today for more milk, though.
Thanks for the heads up on Westchester! Scored a tone of cheap candy for Easter Baskets! Cream cheese, of course. Also picked up some weird sauces, soups, and marinades I wouldn’t normally buy. Helped myself to some pumpkin pie and whipped topping.

Welllll, I might stop on over to see what I missed! I’d bring more Nature Made coupons since they really had a lot of all vitamins and supplements. Also the British and ethnic stuff would be good. I got one bottle of cherry balsamic vinegar and a few jars of dried, cured black olives. Although I’ll probably pass on the cream cheese wall of shame.
