Lisle is scheduled to get those new registers tomorrow…and may god help us all. I think we’ve got until May for the Lisle Jewel registers.

Walgreens, web orders and Coke
I’ve been reading all around that you can use the SAVE5 code on Wags web pick up orders even if you’ve used it in the past – that part is true. I’ve also read that you can then get your six packs of Coke for only $5 after $10 RRs – wrong! $5 store credit reduces the subtotal to less than the $20 threshold, so it’s a no go, unless you add another 12-pack. Just to make certain, I placed an order for 6 packs of Coke and Diet Coke, mixed. While they ask for cc info, it’s not charged until you pick up the order, allowing you to present coupons or pick up other items. In this case, I had a $1/3 packs of Coke from the current Westbrook Market sales ad. Total came to $7+ before coupon. WHAT?! Now, I’ll be the first to grab a deal and choke every last penny out of it, but you know that someone is gonna figure out you done wrong. So we cancelled the web order and I ran it using the last two $10 RR from Ultimate Flora and the $1/3 coupon. So to recap: Web code is valid through 3/31 – GOOD; but you can’t use it to lower your Coke total – BAD!
FREE jelly beans at Wags
Okay, tested this one out, folks, and it works! On page seven, bottom, of the March IVC booklet is a $1/2 coupon for Starburst, Skittles, Life Savers or Hubba Bubba Cluckers Easter item…well, the regular shelf price of Life Savers Jelly Beans is 59¢ or 2/$1. What does that mean? FREE Easter basket candy!
Lisle is sold out, as are probably many other Walgreens. This is a seasonal item, which means it may or may not be available any longer from the warehouse, so check your local Wags for stock, (but don’t hold your breath).
Wags for Coke and clean
Wags PSA
Next week is going to be a completely dead week at Walgreens, in terms of FARR items, so I would recommend rolling your RRs today or tomorrow. I had a load of those $4 Natrol Melatonin RRs, so decided to run a Colgate/Nasal Mist combo: Colgate is $3 with $3 RR and the Wags Nasal Mist is $5 with $5 RR. Basically I just rolled the RRs and paid 31¢ for the privilege. Of course, I also got more products…
And while I could have used coupons, sometimes it’s easier to just roll those cats and not worry about fillers.
Walgreens & AARP promos
Remember yesterday’s post about the free AARP membership and how Wags often has special AARP promotions? Here’s two a sharp-eyed reader spotted:
And here’s what I posted yesterday. The promotion is
still running.
A Complimentary One-Year AARP Membership from Magellan Health Services. You must be age 50 or older; if younger, you may gift this to someone 50 or older. Current AARP members will get an additional year added to their subscription.
Walgreens often has promotions where AARP members get extra discounts or rewards when they show their card.

IPs – $1.50 V8 Energy Shots…
No direct links, but a couple of interesting coupon choices under zip code 80003: A $1.50 off V8 Energy Shots. This energy drink is a new product for Walgreens, so likely we’ll see a future deal – hopefully before the coupons I just printed out expire!
Other beverages are the $1 on any variety 10 ct MM juice boxes. I printed the $3 off $10 coupon for Say Yes to Carrots coupon because I keep seeing total clearance deals at all the Wags I’ve been in lately. If the clearance price is less than $3, you’ll either get a free product (ymmv) or buy a few to get over the $10 threshold!
