still rolling down the Wags river

Duck tape was clearanced at $2.29, so a great item to use as filler – I mean, who doesn’t need Hello Kitty packing tape?  Also picked up Nice wipes, which set me back $1.33 in each transaction.

If any of you have been able to find that elusive single sheet of manufacturer coupons that includes the Friends and Family info, please let us know where it was. Lisle has calls in to e-commerce to get these ’cause it’s a fantastic promotion and we all want IN!

Walgreens Friends and Family discount coupon in store?

UntitledCheck out your local Walgreens for this coupon page found near the entrance (with the monthly IVC booklets) at some stores, because you can use the Friends & Family coupon from today through July 9th – woot!  Only downside is redoing all our calculations…

rebuilding the stockpile, 1 box of Kleenex at a time…

photoBy rolling the two $7 RR items at Walgreens and using the $2 pdf coupon on the Kios DS, I was able to buy a couple of boxes of Kleenex on one side of the roll. I also had a few $4 RRs from Natrol that I used to get the Smart Fiber (along with more Kleenex!).  Now to come up with other stockpile scenarios…

Right Guard deodorant @ Walgreens

photo.JPG
Since family members seem adverse to using flood deodorant, I’m attempting to rebuild that stockpile, too.  The Right Guard pictured is BOGO at Walgreens this week and there’s a $2 coupon in the 6/16 rp.  Obviously this works best when the price is closest to $4!  Unfortunately, I’m a poor person living in a high-rent district – my Walgreens sells these for $4.79 each, so 40¢ each plus high tax.

One thing I noticed was that all the containers looked the same, but contained varying amounts of product.  First ones I grabbed only weighed 2.6 oz while the pictured ones are 4 oz.  And they are all from the same Xtreme Fresh line!  So be careful which ones you take.

FREE photo desktop calendar at Walgreens (only pay shipping)

desk_seasonalAnd yet another freebie from the photo department at Walgreens!  Customize your calendar any way you choose, then use promo code FORTHEDESK at check out and, through Wednesday, June 19th, you’ll get a free desktop calendar!

One crummy note is that this is not something your local Walgreens photo department can handle, so you’ll have to pay $5.99 for shipping to your door.  That said, it’s a nice present for out-of-town grandparents (my mom gets them every year with pictures of her Arizona grandchild).

Free Nestle Crunch bars @ Walgreens

Another one of these deals I totally forgot to post, but here it is:

Through today only (sorry), Walgreens has Butterfingers and Nestle Crunch bars for 2/$1 or 59¢ each.  .  ’cause free is good!  Remember, you can print two coupons per computer.

If your Walgreens doesn’t carry this variety, hold onto them because these bars always go on sale.

updated Walgreens 6/16 –

RRsOn my original post, I said that there were no coupons for the Kios DS Upset Stomach Relief product ($7 with $7 RR), but I’ve found some great pdf coupons on their site, so grab ’em while they’re there – all have 12/31/2014 expiration dates!  One is a $2 coupon for the Kios DS Upset Stomach Relief product, so now we’ll have to come up with a $2 filler item before then.  it’s always something…

Rolling $2 RRs at Walgreens

photo.JPGI’ve been picking up the Diabetes booklets with the $10 Bayer glucose meter coupons whenever and wherever I can because you’re paying 18¢ per meter and earning 2,000 points.  I bring them to the food pantry, which is happy to get them.

I wanted to pick up just a few of the Colgate Total mouthwash in spearmint – I’ll probably pick up a couple more by the end of the week to stretch out the expiration date.  Here are two bottles and a Nestle crunch bar.  Used two $2 coupons from 6/2 S and the $2 P&G RR from last week.  Crunch bar was 59¢ because I didn’t buy two and both the candy bar and mouthwash are high tax.  Total OOP for both was $1.42 and I got back a $2 RR for the Colgate.
