Quickie reminder that the 80% promo code expires in two days.

Okay, now the latest email about Restaurant.com shows the 80% deal again ($25 for $2), so let’s see how long this lasts…

you know the drill by now:  vouchers never expire, if a restaurant closes or otherwise leaves the program your voucher is automatically relisted in blank form in your account, if you want to change restaurants, just call CS and it’s done, free of charge.  what’s not to like?

Note: The email I got said up to 80% off, but I’ve been checking and I only see the 70% off deals.  lying sacks of ….well, you know what.

Strangely enough, Restaurant.com is running an 80% off sale and it’s only the 5th of the month!  hmmm.  This is a great time to pick up certificates when their inventory is full.  Wait until the next promo near the end of the month and you’re gonna be stuck with bubkes.

Remember my spiel from last time?  The certificates never expire, if a restaurant closes or leaves the program your certificates are placed in blank form in your account and you can always change the voucher from one restaurant to another (I’ve done this using their extremely pleasant and helpful cs staff).  When you are doing a road trip it’s nice to at least have your dinner planned in advance.

Let’s be honest here:  Only a lunatic buys these certificates for40% off, unless you are looking for one special restaurant that only has limited vouchers that always sell out fast.  In that case, you are a genius to get 40% off what you would be willing (note I did not say eager) to pay 100% for.

Don’t forget, you only have two more days to get that 80% discount; after that it always goes back to 60%, then 70%…

Restaurant.com has dropped to their 80% off deal already, so see if there’s any new restaurants or ones you’ve been waiting to get.  You know the drill on how they work and how they never expire and how you never lose the money…sheesh!

A fast post with a new 70% off deal. Weird how the 80% deal came first, wasn’t it? Maybe they think people don’t plan in advance and, suddenly, last minute they need something for that Father’s Day dinner…

Well, we know better, don’t we. However, if the restaurant you want wasn’t available during that 80% off deal (which happens all the time), check again and maybe it’ll show up. Don’t forget we’re only talking about a buck or two difference.

See?  This is the usual 60% off promo that should be running this time of the month – the 80% one earlier this month was way too early – but gratefully accepted.

You know how this site works, so I’ll just run the fast facts:  You get vouchers to whatever restaurants you pick, in whatever cities you want.  Your vouchers stay safe in your account and/or you can print them out.  They never expire and if your restaurant closes or otherwise leaves the program, you will automatically get the voucher value transferred to a gift voucher (blank)  that let’s you choose a restaurant at any time in the future.  Got all that?

I’m a little surprised that Restaurant.com has dropped their prices so early in the month; usually the deeper discounts only show up nearer the end, not the beginning.  Having said that, if you need to replenish your supply or are planning a road trip, check out what’s in the inventory as of today.  I constantly push these certificates because I’ve used them for years:  they never expire; if a restaurant closes or leaves the group, your certificate is automatically turned into a blank voucher in your account; if you want to switch one restaurant for another, call customer for a quick and painless no-fee fix.  What’s not to like?
