See? This is the usual 60% off promo that should be running this time of the month – the 80% one earlier this month was way too early – but gratefully accepted.
You know how this site works, so I’ll just run the fast facts: You get vouchers to whatever restaurants you pick, in whatever cities you want. Your vouchers stay safe in your account and/or you can print them out. They never expire and if your restaurant closes or otherwise leaves the program, you will automatically get the voucher value transferred to a gift voucher (blank) that let’s you choose a restaurant at any time in the future. Got all that?
I love these vouchers and recommend them highly.
Are they ever 90% off? Because what I did was when it was 80% off, I bought $400 worth. Somebody, might have been you, said they go for 90% off.
The short answer is yes, they do go to 90%. However it’s usually only once or twice a year, right by the holidays. And I used to get freaked out, too, over the percentages…until I realized that we’re talking about the difference between $1 (90%) and $2 (80%) per $10 certificate. In other words, Justin, don’t sweat the small stuff (percentages).
I remember when I first did Restaurant.com, and I had a problem, so I called them. Well the guy asks me if I want to buy a bunch because they’re 80% off. The type of guy this was, and the way he was talking, it sounded like I was being scammed. After thinking about it, I got $32/400 worth.
You made the right choice, Justin. This is truly one of the wonders of our age: 80% off restaurant food.
