Restaurant.com Mobile Site Launch
Restaurant.com has a new mobile optimized website. Customers can now find over 18,000 participating restaurants by using the “Find Near Me” feature and purchase restaurant gift certificates right from their mobile devices. The certificates are currently 60% off – they’re always more expensive in the beginning of the month when they have the largest selection.

I’ll do the short spiel: vouchers never expire; restaurant closes or leaves program your voucher is converted automatically into blank gift certificate; you can switch vouchers to other restaurants easily for no charge; participating restaurants are all across the nation, which makes dining out while traveling a breeze.

A slow day, so let’s toss a bone to the Restaurant.com people who are offering the 70% off promo code for the week. Shouldn’t make fun of this deal because I really like the vouchers and I can pick from restaurants all around the country. If you’ve never used them before, buy just one voucher and you’ll be hooked. you’ve been warned…
Final few days for the 70% off promo. You know the drill: never expire; can be transferred to another restaurant if you so choose; restaurant leaves program, your voucher converts automatically to blank gift certificate; choose from restaurants all across the nation (great for vacations)…
One thing to point out is that if you need a deal and don’t see a post with valid dates…it doesn’t matter. Click on the banner and you will automatically be transferred to the current promotion.
And here we are, once again, shilling for the 70% promo…you know the drill. Remember, this is a great way to stock up on future outings and even vacations. I use them and recommend them highly. They don’t expire and even if a restaurant closes or drops out of the program, your certificate is returned, in blank, to your account.
Was looking at all the various floral “deals” for Mother’s Day: Even 50% sucks when you add in the shipping and/or delivery charges. So I finally click on the newest Restaurant.com notice and even they have a flower deal! An 80% off promo the first couple of days of the month is very unusual.
As part of this promotion, Proflowers.com has provided one-time use promo codes for $15 off any purchase at Proflowers.com with every order on Restaurant.com! (*ProFlower offer excludes physical gift cards) Each unique promo code will be given to each purchaser on the order confirmation page and order confirmation email. The ProFlowers promo codes will be valid until 5/31/2011. This is a very nice extra, considering you’re getting the cheap rate on the vouchers anyway.
Beginning of the month means the ever-popular 50% off certificate is back. The only problem with waiting until the end of the month is that many of the restaurants will have reached their limits by then. If you go in the beginning of the month, it’s more expensive to buy. What to do? Buy gift certificates (blanks) during the 80% off deals and name your restaurant when they’re reloaded at the beginning of the month! Easy-peasy, right?
