BOGO with clearance bags and a high-value coupon, that’s what! Through 2/25, PetSmart has Purina on BOGO plus there’s a $3 coupon in 1/29 rp. Only 25% off two bags, so not the huge savings I’ve encountered in prior visits, but these four bags ($8.69 shelf price) cost me $3.43 plus tax. Expiration date on clearance is July, 2017.
PetSmart has a big BOGO sale going on sale through January 29 – use the BOGO Purina Dog Chow Small Dog coupon from 1/15 rp for Free dog food! This is their Little Bites line that’s been rebranded as Small Dog. Petco doesn’t carry what they call grocery store lines, so you can’t price match; I don’t know about PetSuppliesPlus. 
Back in July I posted from BloggerBash about the new line of pet gear Disney was coming out with – well, it’s finally available! Both Target and PetSmart are offering different items (PetSmart has bowls and blankets as well as beds), so here’s a look and link to each — they both offer Free Shipping. PetSmart has this Cuddler Bed which can turn into a regular one if your pet doesn’t like the enclosed feeling.
Target has eight beds and one toy in the distinctive Disney style. I like this enclosed bed, since it’s washable and keeps out drafts.
Today only, to celebrate the 7 millions lives saved through pet adoptions, PetSmart is offering a $7 coupon that can be used on purchases of $7 or more! Great to use with this BOGO deal! A comment on Hip says that this coupon is a Tmobile Tuesday Rewards, a rewards app for their customers, but that reward shows up as a bar code you present at checkout not a paper coupon. hmmm
Two full shopping carts with a total OOP of $8.61. Clearance pet food is good pet food…I used a combination of $10 Petco coupons (PetSmart accepts competitor coupons, but these are nla), $8/2 IAMs from 8/7 rp and $5 Nutro MAX.
Posted this on FB yesterday after my free treats trip, but thought I’d bring it up to the front: PetSmart sells CHI products for your poochies! Do you need their blow dryers and flat irons, too? That’s more high maintenance than a trophy wife!
Total for four bags of Purina Pro Plan True Nature cat food ($14.99 each), four pails of Purina Pro cat litter ($9.99 sale) and one Nutro cat food ($5.47 clearance) was $20…How, you may well ask? Since PetSmart accepts competitor coupons with no hassle, trot over there and you can score big time, too! Stores have various prices – some as low as $12.99 – so even if you don’t like this brand (or even have a cat!), it’s a great deal and a super donation. Print the Nutro $5 coupons (opens in new window) and your donation can be even greater.
Here’s a nifty PetSmart $5 off Natural or Specialized Dog or Cat Food, any size. I would definitely be checking out the clearance bags (and the small ones at that!) because this stuff is pricey! But for those of you with special-foods pets, it’s a great find. Print as many as you’d like (it’s a pdf) and stack with a high-value manufacturer coupon. You have until October 8th.

While I haven’t been able to find more free Purina, I did find this $1.40 cat food at one PetSmart! Keep a few inserts in the car and you’ll be prepared for any PetSmart or CVS (beauty clearance) you drive past. The BOGO sale runs through January 29.
